Kat and Lila appeared inside the T.A.R.D.I.S., panting and covered in dust.
"What were you doing?" the Doctor inquired, walking towards them.
"Nothing!" Kat chided, slipping the sonic in her pocket and dropping the gun on the floor.
"What are you doing with a gun?" he yelled, picking it up off the floor and dangling it in her face.
"Nothing, I just examined it and stuff," she stated.
"Yeah, you just examined it."
"Correct! It's ummmm very... metal-y."
"Very believable."
"What? I didn't," Kat and Lila answered at the same time.
"Shoot anybody with it!" Kat exclaimed moving to the controls.
"So you shot it?"
"Yes." Lila said.
"No." Kat spoke over Lila.
'Why are you like this," he said under his breath.
"I was genetically built for warfare." Kat recited, smiling lopsidedly.
The Doctor took a deep breath and turned around, walking back to the console.
"Not my fault!" she yelled, taking the sonic screwdriver back out and playing with it. "I could have been an architect."
Lila followed The Doctor.
"Give me my sonic!"
"I'm not gonna break-"
"Kat!"
"What?" She furrowed her brows at him.
"Sonic!"
"But-"
"Now!"
"But whyyyyyy?"
"Because I said so!"
Kat extended the screw driver, still by the door. "Sheesh." She muttered to herself.
The Doctor snatched it from her hand and skipped to the hallways.
"Where are you going?"
"Somewhere only we know!" he sang.
"No, where are you going?"
"To whatever place I get to first," he stated simply.
"Cool. I'll be in the library... with Lila." Kat grinned deviously and bolted to the other hallway, dragging Lila with her.

"Welcome to my favorite place in the T.A.R.D.I.S.," Kat said, stopping to look over the shelves.
"Woah," Lila managed to say as she slowly made her way in after Kat, taking a moment to let it sink in.
"It's insane. There's a swimming pool, too. And books. And probably some sort of creature." Kat grinned.
"This is fantastic." Lila ran over to one of the shelves, reading all of the covers over to herself.
"Absolutely fantastic," Kat mumbled, not knowing why, just out of habit. "So, you've been with us for a couple months. Thoughts?"
"Your father is crazy," she exclaimed without hesitation.
"I know. It's wonderful though. Sometimes I wonder if I'll turn out like him." She mumbled the last part, staring upward.
"Wouldn't that be lovely."
"Meh. I'm lovely right now. Right?"
"Extremely."
"Good." Kat nodded, drawing in a breath of air as she stared now at Lila.
Lila stared back and bathed in the silence, savoring each moment.
"Did you like your old life? Before we you know sorta kidnapped you?" Kat asked, eyes still drowning in Lila's.
She took a moment to answer, processing her thoughts. "Nothing could be better than now."
Kat's eyes lit up. "Catch!" Kat tossed a book to her. "We're playing hide and seek. You're it." Kat smirked and then bolted into the mass of shelves.
Lila struggled to catch the book and set it on the shelf next to them. "Oi!" she yelled, beginning her search. As she strutted through the books, she examined their spines and realized she didn't recognize any. "How strange..." Lila muttered to herself.
Kat watched her dreamily from the other side of a bookshelf, planning a sneak attack.
Lila continued walking, checking behind the shelf to her left and then rounding the corner.
"Hello!" Kat exclaimed, tackling Lila. They both fell to the ground on top of each other. Kat grinned down at Lila.
Lila smiled back at Kat. "Found you, I guess."
"Right. See, I don't really know how to play hide and seek, so..." she admitted sheepishly.
"I can tell," Lila remarked, laughing.
"You're adorable."
"Not more than you."
Kat moved from off of Lila, sitting down beside her. She pulled a random selection of books off the shelf. She began stacking them, creating an intricate tower. It fell down quickly. She swore, shoving the books back up. She looked up at Lila.
"You know, you are considerably wonderful." She smiled, looking into Kat's eyes.
"Swimming pool!" Kat jumped up, running back down the aisles and stopping at the end of one. The swimming pool was there. She jumped in, her clothes now drenched.
Lila jumped in after her, swimming over to Kat and splashing water in her face. Kat spit the water out, spiking her wet hair into a Mohawk sort of thing that flopped to one side.
"That's gorgeous."
"Not any more gorgeous than your eyes..." Kat mumbled as she floated toward Lila.
"I doubt it," she said, kissing Kat.
She kissed back, holding Lila close to her. Kat moved some of Lila's wet hair out her face as she pulled back, grinning stupidly. Footsteps echoed down the aisles of shelves.
The Doctor walked into the room. "Kat, have you seen my glasses? I just had them and I don't know why they'd be in here but who knows." He disappeared behind the bookshelves, mumbling some incoherent phrases.
Kat didn't reply. Instead, she shrugged and went back to kissing Lila.
The Doctor walked back out. "Kat, are you even list-"
Kat pulled away quickly and looked up, her face turning red as she held her breath.
"Well, umm, I'm gonna go now... let me know if you find them!" He ran out of the room, looking more embarrassed than Kat.
Kat let out a long sigh. She turned to Lila. "I'm cold. Are you cold?"
"A little."
"Yup, let's get not cold. Away we go." Kat climbed out of the pool, shivering as the cold air hit her dripping wet self.
Lila climbed out after her, holding her arms as to retain warmth. Kat led them out of the library and down one of the halls, locking the door and searching through the mounds of clothes. She threw Lila a shirt and pants and a towel and disappeared outside. The two, no longer drenched, trudged back out to the control room where The Doctor was.
"It's about time you two," the Doctor stated. "Did you find my glasses?"
"Here," Kat chucked them across the room to him.
The Doctor fumbled and caught them, and then placed them on his nose.
"Happy?" she asked, muttering slightly.
"Yes."
"Good. Have you learned your lesson about knocking yet?"
"Yes, I think so."
"Great. Good night!" Kat did a weird salute type thing and started down the hall.
The Doctor looked confused, but went with it and continued his business.
"Sleep is important!" Kat disappeared around the corner.
"Okay then..."
Lila rubbed the back of her neck nervously. "I'll be going then..."
"Oh, because you need sleep too. I get it, just go..." the Doctor said dejectedly.
Lila opened her mouth to say something, but closed it. She started down the hall, and stopped halfway. "Thank you, for kidnapping me, I guess." She disappeared.
"You're welcome..."
