Kat's eyes flashed open. A few ceiling lights were flickering on as she awoke, sitting up. A few desks were lined up around the room, a whiteboard at the front. A larger desk strewn with papers was positioned to the left of that. She stood, looking around. The room had no windows, but a door that was closed near the back.
Kat stood, surveying her surroundings. Her head was fuzzy and her vision dazed. She started to trudge around the desks, glancing at the papers piled messily atop them. She grabbed one. It was an essay paper written in the scribbly print of a five year old's handwriting. At the top was a name written in all capitals. 'KAT WILSON.'
"My paper?" Kat mumbled to herself. She smiled slightly at the doodle of a little box in the bottom corner surrounded by stars.
She kept it in her hand as she continued forth. More papers. She grabbed another. This one was a piece of vanilla colored paper with doodles crammed together filling the page with blue crayon.  A little man and a woman sitting in a room, surrounded by men with guns. She reached for another. It was dotted with tiny writings of 'find them quickly' or 'search the skies'. Her mind raced as she took in all the words and pictures. Kat folded the three and shoved them in her pocket.
A crash sounded. Kat whirled round to spot a pile of books that had fallen off a shelf. She picked one up. Blue. A strange, strange name for a book.
"Small children books, papers, and classrooms,"
Kat approached the white board and took the cap off a marker. She began to write quickly. She started with Kat at the center. She branched out to The Doctor, another to Lila, another to T.A.R.D.I.S., and a final to death.
"Father. Girlfriend. Space ship. Death..." She mumbled, shaking her head. Kat trudged to the door at the back and tried the handle. Locked.
    "Need a key..."
