VAV - Ziu

I was practicing with my group for SPOTLIGHT and we were taking a break. There was a knock on the door, and Selene walked in with food and drinks for us. "Thank you!" We said as we helped her set everything out. "How's your practice going?" She asked, us sighing and groaning. "We need to focus more on timing." Baron told her, Selene nodding and offering to help. "After the food though." St. Van said, making us all laugh. We chatted as we ate, Selene telling us stories to make us laugh. We helped her pack up before starting the music and starting. When we finished she nodded seriously, and told us what we needed to do and where. "Ace, you miss the beat here, and Jacob you are too fast here. Ziu, you can't cover for Lou on this part, so Lou you need to be quick moving there." And so on. We took it in and started the music again, us all noticing the difference. We finished and grinned, thanking her with a group hug. "Should we record for the dance practice then?" Ayno suggested, us agreeing and setting the camera up. Selene counted us in and we began, being as serious as we could. The recording finished and we sat down, tired. "Well done everyone, you did well!" She told us, giving us a bottle of water. "I think we're done for the day, should we head to the dorms?" St. Van said, getting up. We cleaned up and shut the door, handing the key in at the reception and heading to our dorms. "Want us to drop you off, Selene?" I asked, everyone stopping for a bit. "No, that's okay. I only live about 5 minutes from you anyway." She smiled. We reached our dorms and everyone said goodbye before heading in. I turned round and hugged her, not wanting to let go. "Thank you for coming today, we really needed you." I chuckled, squeezing tighter. "Anytime you need me, I'll be there. You know that, Ziu." She whispered. "I know. Thank you." I whispered back, pulling away to give her a kiss before I head up as well. "Text me when you get home, okay?" I asked worriedly. "I will, don't worry about me." She laughed. I nodded and turned around, going upstairs. I saw her turn the corner as I rushed to the window and sighed, laying down on my bed. As promised, Selene texted me when she got home, and I smiled as I drifted to sleep.
