Barking.

That was what woke me up. I moaned at the slight pounding in my head before untangling myself from Rei and Shizuka, Takagi on the other side of the blonde, cuddling her. My towel fell off completely just as Saeko and Takashi ran up the stairs. Still half-asleep, I yawned and rubbed my eyes.

"I didn't know that Rika-san had a dog." I heard Takashi yelp and opened my eyes to see the poor guy crouched down, facing away from me. Saeko looked at me up and down with a light blush on her face before she moved to give me a bundle of clothes.

"P-Put that on quickly," Takashi said, still looking away from me.

"Hm?"

"Or else, I'll get a boner," he mumbled shyly, the tips of his ears red. Saeko helped me put the clothes on as we both giggled quietly. The obnoxious barking was still going on and it woke the others in the bed. Once I was finished, Takashi headed outside to meet with Hirano. I followed and saw a white puppy barking up at us, making the zombies follow the sound. "We should have left earlier."

A male, surrounded by zombies, shot his shotgun but got overwhelmed. I went back inside to wake the others fully as Saeko, Hirano, and Takashi argued among themselves. I'm sure that the brunette was going to help whoever was out there, no matter what we say. I horded the females downstairs to eat what Saeko made for us quietly. Said girl came down the steps, looking grim.

"He wants the save them, ne?" I inquired.

"That's correct." I sighed and looked at the table in front of me before going outside, taking my machete. Climbing on top of a wall, I saw a man with his daughter running to a house where lights were on. I watched as the man pleaded for the people to help his daughter before he was stabbed by the occupants of the home in front of his daughter. As her wails grew louder, more zombies swarmed into the fenced property.

"Shit!"

"Takashi, let's go!" I looked above me to see the distraught teen. Even I couldn't turn away from a child in need. Hirano cocked back the sniper and took a shot at the zombie that hovered above her.

"Rock 'n' roll!" I smirked and looked at the puppy that ran towards the little girl. Hirano continuously shot zombie after zombie with ease, making Takashi smile lightly.

"Hirano."
"Yeah?"
"What happened to not shooting? And abandoning people in order to save yourself?"

"DUDE! IT'S A LITTLE GIRL!" I sighed as they continued to chat and began walking down the steps. Many of the undead passed by me without trouble and I walked among them. Suddenly, I heard a motorcycle coming in my direction. Well, there goes my plan to go quietly. I began slicing through the undead around me just as Takashi spotted me. He held out a hand and slowed down enough so I could get on the bike with ease. He sped through the zombies as Hirano took them out quickly.

"There!"  He skidded, hitting the zombies heading for the gate and I jumped off. I turned around just in time to see Takashi fall off the bike.

"Damn." He rubbed his head. "Guess it doesn't work like it does in the anime." I laughed before helping him up. The puppy's bark gained our attention, noticing two zombies closing in on the girl. My guess is the Hirano didn't have a good shot. I ran towards the undead, pulling him away and shoving it against the house as Takashi took care of the other one. I sliced its head off before taking out another. The first ones spilling into the yard after us was quickly taken care of Hirano.
