--Mitchel's POV--
We were running for what seemed to be about half an hour deep in the woods surrounding the entire town. I could eventually feel the alpha's pull was fading. Coming to think of it, that bastard never told me his name. I might need to bring that up when we have our usual breakfast coffee tomorrow morning. My Wolf chuckled, noticing the obvious sarcasm in my tone.
I began to slack off a bit as I began to regain my consciousness. "Could this ever end?!" I asked myself.
"Stop!" growled the Alpha. "We're here"
"Finally," I held my breathe as my words escaped from my mouth without anyone hearing me.
I looked around trying to find my bearings. The area looked very familiar. Of course! We were standing at the back of the school's field where no one could actually noticed us. They'd probably never be able to see us standing here.
"No room for any mistakes." The Beta, the next in command, growled looking very stern.
I scanned the area for the second time. I saw Dylan, his dad and some other cops. It also looked like some other students were still around and it's been practically four hours all though I could hardly recognize them. There was no way I was doing whatever this dude wants me to. And guessing from his character, this 'plan' was not going to be something that would put a smile on Opera's face.
--Unknown's POV --
We had him right were we wanted him. We were dashing through the woods and he seemed to have no idea how or why he can't follow his own will and stop following us.
I had come up with a plan to get rid of his great potential before he gains full control of it. And this plan was just absolutely foolproof.
I commanded the rest of the pack to stop running when we arrived just a few yards away from the school's field. I glanced through the fence watching to see if I could see anything that could jeopardise my foolproof plan.
"No room for any mistakes." I heard my beta shout. He continued blasting the pack on the rest of the plans. Suddenly, I heard a loud revolt from our guest.
"I'm not killing anyone!" He growled looking very angry. I guess he's pulling out of the trance. He must be really strong to be able to recover so quickly. "You guys are sick and just wait until the pack gets you."
"Shut up!" I growled at him. "You are killing with us whether you like it or not!"
I released a fierce howl into the area causing him to roll around on the ground in agonizing pain while gripping the back of his neck.
The rest of the pack howled along with me in perfect harmony.
Mitchel was cracking and snapping his bones as he shifted completely. He had two black bands on his left front limb which looked new to me while his eyes were glowing golden brown with flashes of red in them. He slowly began walking towards the field.
He was lurking behind the stands in order not to blow his cover. He was drooling with complete zeal to kill anything in sight. Just as it looked like he was about to attack, he stopped. He was completely rooted to the ground. Frozen.
"Why? What's happening?" I asked my beta sounding very harsh but I didn't really care.
Why did he stop? And why isn't he moving as well?
--Dylan's POV--
I was getting a bit more worried. No one had any idea how the boy who was attacked is doing.
The police are still investigating into the matter and I could see that they weren't getting anywhere due to the lack of information.
I've been calling Mitchel on his cell phone ever since he bolted but haven't heard from him ever since. I just hope he's okay.
"It looks like I'm not the only one who's worried about him" I said to myself as I caught a glimpse of Emily walking in my direction with her eyes full of anxiety.
"Dylan, any news on the accident on the field?" She asked trying not to be too forward although I knew her main reason for coming.
"Nope, " I answered playing asking with her distraction to test how long she could go.
Emily was a pretty girl. She has a very tiny structure but with perfect curves. Long brown hair which sat neatly on her waistband. Deep blue eyes which I'm sure was one of her many traits that Mitchel admires.
"The police haven't got anything. And it looks like the Sheriff has gone completely bonkers." I continued.
"What about Mitchel?" She asked jumping straight to the point. I guess she couldn't handle the anxiety.
"I haven't heard from him either," I stated noticing her face drop. "I've left him about a hundred voice mails but still"
Tears began to fill her eyes but she wiped them off immediately.
"I don't know why but I'm very worried about him. I don't understand why. I. I. I just hope he's okay." She blurted out before shoving her tearing up face in my chest.
"Oh God! Mitchel where the fuck are you?"
--Leah's POV--
I was going completely insane. No one know where Mitchel was. We had lost him in the pack link as well. Jasper, Seth and I have been running in the woods looking for him all over Forks but still had no sign of him.
I just hope he hasn't done anything totally out of proportion.
We slowed down a few metres away from the beach and observed carefully to see if we could catch a smell or sound that would lead us to Mitchel while Jasper made phone calls to almost everyone we knew. Seth had already got Judy and Kate, her sister, running a total perimeter of the area on road.
'When a wolf losses a member of the pack, anger rages throughout the pack's territorial neighbours.' That's what my dad would always say when I ask him about mother.
I just don't know what to do anymore.
--Mitchel's POV---
"I don't know why but I'm very worried about him. I don't understand why. I. I. I just hope he's okay."
That voice. That girl. I would never miss that voice no matter where I am. It healed me. It cured me. I could feel myself getting stronger. The fact that Emily was worried about me was enough to terminate the pull of that alpha on me, for now.
Holy sh*t! What am I doing here like this? Someone could easily see me. I slowly creeped away until I thought no one could actually hear me and bolted into the Woods. I couldn't see or hear the alpha nor his pack anymore. I didn't know if i should have been smiling or scared.
Right now, I'm just thinking about Emily. She cared. That meant she could also feel it. I'm not going to let anyone hurt her anymore. I'm her guardian angel. She's my other half. She's my soul mate.
