Grace worked at a bar somewhere downtown in New Orleans. It was always busy at night. There was normally small bands or singers that would play each day, but sometimes the company would get lucky, and maybe Fall Out Boy would show up, or something like that. This one particular night, it was average. There wasn't a lot of people, but there was also a pretty decent sized crowd. Grace was impatiently tapping her finger on the counter, waiting to see what band was setting up. Then she remembered that there was a marquee on the wall. She averted her eyes to it, and they immediately lit up.Panic! At the Disco was going to preform.
She did a small happy dance behind the counter and smiled to herself, remembering who was in that band and how she oh-so desperately wanted to meet him.
Ryan Ross.
Sure Spencer was really hot, and so was Jon and Brendon, but something just clicked with her and Ryan, she felt. So she was the most excited to see him.
She adjusted her small black dress that she had to wear. The bar was very weird with their dress code for the workers.Men had to wear all black tuxedos with white shoes and two white dots on their face, and women had to wear tight black dresses with one small white dot on their cheek. It was pretty odd, but she still went with it.
Grace began to look around at all the people. She saw someone leaning up against the record machine in the corner, drinking a shot given from someone on the side of him.
It was Ryan Ross.
He gave the person a thumbs up, then pointed at the bar area, which is where she was, and tilted his head. He then nodded and began to walk towards her.
Her heart began to beat out of her chest as she fixed her dress once more and fluffed up her hair as a habit. He sat down at a seat and looked down at his lap. She went over to him and leaned over the counter slightly, not getting too close, but close enough, to get his attention.
"Whatcha want, Ryan?"
He looked up with wide eyes.
"You know me?"
Grace nodded proudly. "Yep. I've been a huge fan of your band since the year you guys got together."
He smirked. "Mm. Okay. Nice. Well uh, im 20..so im technically not old enough to drink yet, but you could let this slide just this once, right? And maybe get me a shot of whisky?"
She silently laughed. "Of course. I'm 19 and they still hired me. They wouldn't give two shits if a 12 year old walked in here, honestly." Grace said as she made his shot and handed it to him.
"Wow. Well i shouldn't get too tipsy before the show, but maybe afterwards, you, me, and the band could have a little fun. You seem really cool...uh.."
He looked at her name tag.
"Grace. That's a really beautiful name."
She blushed a dark shade of crimson. "Thank you, Ryan."
"No problem." He winked and walked off to go find Brendon and the rest of the band.
She squealed silently as she waited for the band to go on.

A little while later, the boys came out and began to put out their equipment. Ryan was on the far right side of the stage, so he was the closest to her. She sighed and put her chin in her hand and leaned over the counter, watching as he tuned his guitar. She heard a snap come from somewhere to the right of her, and she saw a customer angrily tapping his fingers on the counter. She apologized to him and began making his request. She handed the drink to him and he left without giving her a tip. It was an open bar that night, so guests didn't have pay or tip. But it would've been nice to get one.
Grace sat down on the back counter and waited for the music to begin. No one was going to the bar anyway, so there was no point in standing. A loud ear-piercing ring went through the bar and everyone covered their ears. Moments later, Brendon said a quick "sorry" into the microphone, then went offstage. Grace laughed to herself. A few minutes later, the lights dimmed and the boys took their spots on stage. She went around and sat on the counter of the bar where the customers would normally put their drink and waited for the show to begin. However, the first thing that was said wasn't song lyrics. Ryan began talking.
"I just want to say before the show starts that there is a wonderful girl over at the bar that let me drink a shot of whisky even though im underage. So id go give her a tip and get a drink after our show if I were you." He looked over at Grace and winked. Laughter and cheers erupted through the crowd. She waved at the crowd and then smiled at Ryan. The lights completely dimmed down and "But It's Better If You Do" began to play. Grace began dancing a bit and she got down at one point and started swaying her hips as snapping her fingers. She looked over at Ryan and he was staring back at her and smiling.
Grace wanted to do something interactive with the band. The female staff members were allowed to get frisky with the band, if they consented. They would have to talk to the manager about it and if they said yes, the manager would let the females know and they could do whatever they wanted. Grace got notified about it, seen as she's the only female staff member besides a few older ladies that weren't interested in dancing with the boys, and instantly got excited. She started walking towards the stage and the first person to look was Brendon. He sneakily side eyed her and smirked as if putting on a show.Grace has seen the whole Live In Denver show.
She knew how this kind of stuff worked. She went behind him and ran her hands up and down his arms. She could see out of the corner of her eye that Ryan was staring hard at Brendon, who was obviously enjoying himself. Brendon then noticed, and gave Grace a quick kiss on the cheek before pushing her over to Ryan. Grace spun around him a few times before stopping in front of him at the exact moment the beat stops when Brendon says "I wouldn't be caught dead in this place" and ran her fingers through his hair, then along his arms. Then she pushed the guitar out from in front of him and let it rest on the sides of their waists as their hips collided. Ryan ducked his head down by the side of Grace's and hid the small moan that came out from his lips. She pushed herself off of him, but as she did, Ryan grabbed her hand and pulled her back, giving her a long, but also semi-quick kiss.
She looked at him and smiled. She finally walked off and went by Jon, then Spencer, then back by Brendon to end the song. They all bowed and Grace went back to her bar area and sat down. She let the boys preform the rest of their songs on their own, with the occasional glance from Ryan. She sang along to every song and danced as much as she could before the show almost ended. Once it finally did, the boys went line up to bow, but right before they did, Ryan waved his hand to get Grace to go up their with them as well, and she surely did. She stood next to Ryan and Brendon, and felt Ryan's arm go securely around her waist. She smiled and bowed with the boys as the crowd clapped and cheered.
