Popo walks out of his room tiredly. He rubs his eyes, groaning loudly. He is surprised when he realizes that Nana isn't awake yet, or at least not screaming. He walks slowly to her room, not daring to wake her up. Popo notices that her door is pushed open slightly, and he looks through the gap. He sees her sat up, on her laptop, looking at it intensely. Oh no, she's looking for an event to go to, Popo thinks nervously.
It's fairly easy to tell when Nana is going to plan something, for example, her staring at her laptop pensively, not taking her eyes off it. Popo turns away, and meets Ness's eyes when they link from across the room. "What is she doing?" Ness asks suspiciously, he'd been banned from ever looking into or entering Nana's room. Popo sighs miserably. "An event to go to, I'm guessing." Ness growls, he stomps to the couch.
Nana hears Ness's monstrous footsteps and closes her laptop roughly. She jumps out of bed and slides to the door. "Keep it down, you moron! Some people are sleeping!"
"You weren't sleeping."
"Doesn't mean other people weren't! You idiot!"
Ness looks away in anger, hating that Nana is right. He snatches the remote and turns on the T.V. plopping on the couch with his arms crossed. Popo sits on the single couch across from the double couch, where Ness sat. Vio walks out of his room, spotting that at least 2 people are awake. "Where's-"
"Nana?"
"Uh yeah."
"Looking for an event to go to."
"Oh no."
Ness and Popo laugh, "Exactly!" they say in unison. Vio continues walking and makes it to the kitchen, looking for something to eat. When looking in the fridge for food wasn't successful he put all his hope to the pantry. He turned the doorknob and the door creaked loudly, wobbling as he moved it slightly. "Woah, what did you guys do to this thing?"
"It was broken when we moved in..or not. I actually don't know, blame Nana if anything."
Nana walks out of her room, with her laptop in hand. She sits next to Ness, opening the laptop once more. "Guys! I found something that we can all go to."
"All seven of us?"
"No- well, all of us that are awake. Check if Lucas or Claus are awake, Toon Link can't come, he has Sunday school."
"Wait, I realize that all these chapters are in holiday order. Is this a Christmas thing?" Popo asks.
"Yeah. Thank God you noticed I thought I was alone." Nana says with relief in her voice. "So yeah it's a Christmas event and it's limited to 4 people which, luckily, all 4 of us are awake."
"Will we come home in time to pick up Toon Link?"
"Yeah we will if we go now."
Popo, Ness and Vio groan all together, not wanting to go at this moment. "Shut up, get ready." she says and gets up enthusiastically and runs to her room. They all hear her growling as she tries to get her boots off. "Ugh, let's go, she might kill us if we don't." Vio says and he returns to his room.
20 or so minutes pass and they all eventually meet in the living room again. Popo stops their upcoming discussion and walks to Lucas and Claus's room. Turns out that they're all asleep. "They're dead." Popo says as he turns back. "Okay, so we need to go now or we're gonna be late."
"Will this be the first time that we'll actually be early?"
"Yeah maybe, if you get in the car."
Popo sighs and they all sync with each other while walking to the car. Ness and Vio sit in the back, while Popo sits in the passenger seat, with Nana sitting in the driver's seat. Nana starts up the car and they feel themselves and the car move. "So what are we gonna do about Claus, Lucas and Toon Link?"
