Keebo looked around the quiet library of hopes peak Academy for gifted juveniles. "Ah. Finally a moment of peace." Keebo said. He walked towards the brown wooden table that his friends had moved there. "Pretty silly to not be able to study at a table huh?" Kaito had said. Keebo smiled fondly at the memory. Himiko and Kaede has moved a few bean bags there as well. Keebo took a book off the dusty shelves and sat down on a comfy chair Rantaro had pitched in with. The warehouse had plenty of things and the sixteen students had turned the whole school into a great big comfort project. It was small at first. Flowers in Gonta's lab. Japanese wind chimes in the cafeteria. But soon comfort became an ongoing bonding project. Keebo took some art supplies from Angie's decorative addition. "While I cannot create art here because Atua is too shy, I can leave these here for you to try!" She had said with a goofy smile on her face. Keebo absorbed the nice atmosphere of peace and quiet in the dimly lit library. Then Keebo sat down. He immediately regretted it because he heard a fart noise come from under him. He stood up embarrassed. "Kokichi! My logic tells me that you are here!" Keebo yelled annoyed. The purple eyed boy came out from under a bookshelf. "Nee-hee hee! You fell for it again!" Kokichi laughed. Keebo sighed, irritated. "Kokichi. That was not funny. I am trying to wind down with some art and books." Keebo said. "It was very quiet until you got here." Keebo added for good measure. "But Keebo. You were soooooo loud. And your fart smells almost as bad as your robo breath!" Kokichi said irritating the robot further. "It does not! And I am unable to fart!" Keebo said. "Hey Keebo." "What?!" "Let me smell." Kokichi said. "S-Smell? My breath?" Keebo blushed faintly. Kokichi reached for his ahoge. "Hey! Don't touch that!" Keebo said. He felt a shiver go down his back. Keebo has always felt strange about Kokichi. He lied all the time. Yet he acknowledges it. His logic is impossible to follow. Keebo found himself trying to spy on Kokichi to see if he could find a reason for some of his behavior. He could not. Yet when Kokichi teased him he felt different. He felt shyer than usual. Keebo treated Kokichi like a pest yet fell for all of his tricks. Kokichi smelled his breath. "Ooh! Smells like grape!" Kokichi said. He then took a seat. The wooden chair creaked. Keebo shook his head. "What are you doing here?" Keebo asked. "I'm here because you want to be hated. Aaand I'm the best at that!" Kokichi said. "But wait. I never said I wanted to be hated!" Keebo said. "You're right. That was a lie!" Kokichi laughed. He then looked at his nails. "If you want to feel love the you should hang out with me. I mean unless your nonexistent heart feels like breaking a real one." Kokichi said. "Well I'll hang out with you- Hey! What was that last part?!" Keebo asked. "Yay! Let's go to my research lab." Kokichi said grinning. "Oh alright......." Keebo looked down slightly. He had been spending a lot of time with Kokichi. He never did learn about his logic but he had fun. Kokichi was very entertaining when he wasn't robophobic. Which he was. A lot. Keebo frowned. Even if I make him promise, he could just as easily lie. He thought. Keebo walked with Kokichi. He felt something deep inside his circuits. What is this feeling when I am with Kokichi? He thought. Must be friendship. He thought. He smiled. "Oh? What's going on Keebo? You usually seem soooooo disappointed in hanging out with me." Kokichi said. "No I do- oh." Keebo sighed. "Lying even today Kokichi?" Keebo asked. "Today and every day Keeboy." Kokichi said with a carefree smile. Keebo sighed. The descended the long steps from the third floor into Kokichi's research lab. "So Kokichi Why are we here?" Keebo asked suspiciously. "To try and use this potion." Kokichi said. "What does that do?" Keebo asked nervously. He took a step back. He bumped into Kokichi's car. "Oh Keeboy." Kokichi leaned into Keebo's face. Keebo felt that if he had a heart it would've stopped. "Why are you scared? It's just me you meanie." He said. Keebo could feel his breath on his face. Keebo shivered. He definitely didn't want whatever was in that potion. "No thank you Kokichi. I cannot drink it anyways." Keebo said. Kokichi smirked. He put his finger in his mouth. "Mm!" Keebo gasped. He... tasted..... "Kokichi What did you do?!" Keebo asked. "Well you'll need taste buds to eat and drink. You said you can but you don't because it doesn't taste like anything." Kokichi backed up. "That's no good. Plus you need to drink grape Panta." Kokichi said. "Kokichi. Did you put the potion on your finger and then give it to me when I said no?" "Your point?" "Well.... I mean that means that I can....." Keebo's eyes literally lit up. "I can eat!" Keebo said. "Thank you Kokichi!" Keebo gave Kokichi a big hug. Kokichi gasped. Keebo pulled back and blushed a little. He then frowned as a thought crossed his mind. "This had better not be a prank." Keebo said. "Would I trick you?" "Yes!" "Nah I don't think I would." "You've done it before!" "So? It's not my fault you're a sucker robot." "You take that back you robophobic lair!" "Nee-hee hee... I can't take back the truth." Kokichi said grinning. Keebo groaned. Kokichi laughed. "Come on! Let's go pester Kirumi until she gives us candy!" Kokichi said. "Or we could just ask her." Keebo said. "What's the fun in that?" Kokichi said with a smirk. Keebo knew he wasn't going to stop being flustered any time soon.
