You didn't remember anything... just a loud crash and a bright light. you woke up in a hospital bed hyperventilating.
"funny..." you mumble "I was in my car and then..." your eyes widen.
"MUM! DAD!" you yell. several doctors come running in.
"are you all right miss?" one of them asks.
"I think... where's my mum and dad? are they ok?" you reply. they all shuffle around awkwardly before one of them looks up.
"they... we.. uh..." the doctor stammered before he gathered himself and exhaled.
"We tried everything we could... we couldn't save them, they died this morning. Too much blood loss,"
"W-w-what?" you stammer, tears filling your eyes, "what happened to them to cause this?"
"do you not remember?" the doctor asked.
"N-no... all I remember is a crash and a bright light..." you mumble, "wait... I was in my car so... was it a car crash?"
"yes miss, you had to be cut out... the chauffeur is fortunately ok. Thank god for airbags,"
"didn't save my parents... even if i'm 25 and my father was filthy rich I only have a few grand in my bank account... I can't even afford a house! the house has probably been sold anyway to the Igarashi corp!" you sulked. the doctors looked at you surprised. (A/N: not actually in the anime... I just made Igarashi corp up)
"that's... precisely what happened miss. How did you know?" the doctor enquired
"It was just a guess..." you sighed.
"while we're on the topic... do you have any relatives?"
"no, my parents were all I had left,"
"friends?"
you were about to say no but then he crossed your mind...
"well... I do know someone who might let me stay..." you say slowly...
