Kin's POV
"Shoot him dead." my leader commanded as I placed the silencer of my gun. My target was standing about eight yards away. "You better hurry the fuck up before he's gone and don't miss. If you do, you know how to deal with it."
I nodded slowly, raising the gun and staring at the man I was about to shoot. My finger slipped around the trigger and a small smirk was playing at my lips. I closed right eye and zeroed on his head. I pulled the trigger and not three seconds later the bullet made direct contact with his skull. His body was on the ground and my leader and I stood up from our post.
"Our job is done. Let's go Kin." Leader walked off and I followed.
"Back to base?" I asked. "Or do we have any other jobs we need to take care of?"
"There may be another man that you need to take care of. He's the boss of another rival gang. You need to take care of him.
"Wow, trusting me with another boss? That's a job I thought you'd have Levi handle. I won't complain though, I love having control over the situations." I answered.
"You're absolutely correct Kin. It is a job he'd be handling right now. But he's not here with us anymore." he continued walking.
"W-What do you mean? Levi...Levi isn't dead right?" I clenched my jaw.
"No. He's with the Survey Corps now. He's dead to us."
I tried to ask questions but he didn't answer or say anything for that matter until we got back to our base and into his office. Leader grabbed a small file and handed it to me. "That's where the boss is and all the intel that you're going to need on him and his subordinates. You're going alone, you can handle it. Now leave." he commanded.
Reluctantly, I nodded and left his office, shutting the door quietly on my way. What did he mean that Levi joined the Survey Corps? He just left us? He was our strongest and most valuable member! My lip started turning up on its own, almost like I was a snarling beast. He left me. That bastard left me alone with no one else! The one day that I don't have job with him, Isabel, and Farlan- with that thought I threw the bosses door open.
"Isabel and Farlan. Were they with him?" I asked in a pissed off manner.
He didn't answer and slowly stood up from his desk, walking over to me. "You better know your place and knock on that fucking door before you ever open it." he growled, punching me straight across my face. It's not like I've never been punched before. But his brute strength, I wasn't use to. I'd only ever been hit by him three times.
I made it look like it didn't bother me and without saying anything else, asked again. "Isabel and Farlan, were they with Levi when he left?"
I saw his jaw lock with the disrespect that I was currently displaying at the moment.
"Are they all gone?!" I yelled at him. "I want a fucking answer!"
Bosses eyes locked onto mine his hand came up in a flash and gripped my throat as he shoved me into the wall. My feet were dangling and his hold was not faltering. "If you want to keep speaking to your superior like that, I dare you to see what happens next." his voice was deadly and I noticed his hand at his side where I knew he kept a large switch blade. I tried to swallow but his fingers were so tight around my throat that it was impossible.
He threw me to the ground after my failed attempts of struggling and trying to loosed the death grip his held on me. I choked out and gasped for air. "Try asking me one more time, like how you're suppose to." he growled.
I knew my place, and I knew that he could quite easily get another replacement for my absence. "B-Boss... Do you know if Isabel and Farlan were with Levi when he left?" I barely got out.
