*weeks later

Kinslee:
Jack why are you acting like this?

I put my phone down and glanced over at him. He picked up his phone and sighed. The tall boy in between us heard jack sigh which caused him to look at me and then looked at jack. Jonah turned his head again so he was looking at me and furrowed his eyebrows. I shrugged, frowning. He nodded and patted my thigh, diverting his focus back to his phone.

Curly Headed Cutie 🤤💕💫:
Can you just drop it Kinslee? I just fucking told you guys I didn't want to talk about it.

My face turned sad as I reread jacks text message. I hit the circle with the 'i' in it that was in the top right corner of our text log. I clicked on jacks contact.

"Hey Corbyn?" I looked up and my voice cracked which caught jacks attention. He stared at me, his eyes weren't the warm chocolate brown they usually are, they were cold and piercing. Corbyn looked in his rear view mirror, locking eyes with mine. "Will you make a pit stop and drop me off at home?"

"What no?! Come hang out Kinslee!" Zach turned around and gave me puppy dog eyes. He saw my tear filled ones and slowly nodded, turning back around.

"Yeah Kins, I will." Sadness resigned in Corbyns voice.

jack avery:
why do you have to be so
dramatic? The boys don't
need to pity you yanno?

Kinslee:
Jack, I don't even know
who you are anymore. Please
just leave me alone, my heart can't
take much more.

I shut my phone off, wiping the stream hot tears off of my cheeks. Jonah hugged me and then handed me his phone.

Jonug-
I just watched you shut off your
phone so I know you wont see
these lol.

I just saw your text messages
with jack.

I'm so sorry Kinslee.

You don't deserve to be
treated like that.

I'm not excusing jacks
behavior but his mentality
is hurt them or be hurt.

His past relationships have
taught him this.

I nodded handing Jonah his phone back. He wiped a tear off of my cheek and the corner of his mouth tugged up slightly, shooting me a small smile.

"Stay strong little warrior." He whispered in my ear before he left me alone for the rest of the car ride.
