This book is the diary entries of five growing teenage girls with stories to share about thier lives. This book is for girls about girls. This book is a story that every girl go through. Keep in mind these diary entries are fake but real experiences.

The first girl is a white blonde girl who is about 5'0 and is 15. She is about looks in her conservative right wing American home. But what looks like an all American home have secrets.
Dear Diary,
My name is Jenna Walters. I am 15 years old. I go to Jefferson High. I never wrote in a diary before and sense no one will ever read it, what the heck. I have no secrets but I don't want to run for 10th grade class president. My parents made me run against our neighbors' son name Marco the immigrant left wing libral family. If you havent notice that is completely against what my parents believe in. But it is what they want so, I guess.

Sasha is a inner city teen of Crenshaw. She is 14 years old. And living in the hood is a story itself. Listen and read as she tells her struggle.

My name is Sasha Jones. And I live in Crenshaw where gangs fight it is like a warfield out here. My mom was a nurse and she worked alot but "it's worth it saving lives and the pay aint bad" she would say. Of course I would chuckle but I knew she was always strained. We was not living bad always had food at the house and a new outfit every weekend. That was up until my mom got sick from a patient which lead to her death. There CPS took me away from my sickly grandmother and gave to my drug addict aunt. Sometimes I woder if my dad who ever he is would have stepped in, how life would be. Different or the same?

The third girl is a Chinese immigrant family born in a small city outside the great city of Hong Kong and moved at 14. Liu-Xiang is trying to get use to her new American lifestyle and growing an obession of Apple Pie, which she call "Ming" Her family stresses school and her getting better at English. Liu-Xiang will see alot that she didnt see in her farm life in China. Her age now is 16.
Hello,
My name is Liu-Xiang Li my full name. I live in Newport Beach, California. I am 16 years of age. That means I am learning how to drive. My dad is very nervous, me too. Since I moved I grew a liking for Ming. I love MING!!!!!! I am starting school because during our move our mom home schooled us now we have to start public school. See, I have been practing my English in my diary/ journal. I start tomorrow so wish me luck and pray it is full of cute American boys there.
