Cindy's POV

We stood there, breathless as we finished the dance we choreographed to one of our favorite songs. I look around and observe each of their faces. All read passion, with sweat crawling down. Simultaneously, our chest rose and fell. We were currently in my living room, which was big enough to fit us all in.

"That was awesome!"  Lee yelled after a few seconds, breaking the tense silence. Lee was the youngest, she was 19. But her age came no where near her dancing. It was as if she was good at everything.

"I think I lagged a little on the third spin." Nari moaned, rubbing her forehead. Nari always would put herself down and over do herself at times. She dropped out of high school and decided to go on her own route and did what shes best at, art. She got into an arts academy and now is working on her last year. But her heart belongs to dance. Her parents encourage her, as shes the only child and often say that she was born to dance.

"Shut up Nari, I think we all deserve a pat on the back." Kim beamed, fixing her hair in the mirror. Now Kim, she was the 'leader' even though we weren't an actual group yet. She was our model. She had that perfect smile, that could take down anyone, her charms always gave us access to clubs back in the days. She was the eldest, 24. She was great at singing and was a straight A student.

Yoko was sitting in the corner stretching her legs while scrolling down her phone. I watched Yoko as her facial expression changed to pure shock. She jumped on her feet, like she was on fire and ran towards us, eyes still glued on her phone. She squealed and started dancing around us, with a smile that was so wide.

Min, who was clearly getting annoyed, grabbed her by the shoulders and gave her a little shake to stop.

"What is it, Yoko?" I asked, and the others circled around, curiously.

"Read!" She said, a little too fast.

Min gave her a look, then took the phone. We waited for her reaction to change. Then suddenly a huge, dorky grin grew on her face too.

"BTS are holding their own show, allowing girls our age to participate in singing and dancing competitions... Winners get a trip to Hawaii with the boys!" Her brows rose at the last part.

It was as if lightning hit all of them. The living room turned into a circus. They screamed, jumping around like lost animals that escaped the zoo. Kim started fanning herself almost crying, Lee and Nari were hugging each other, and Min was reading the notification again, to make sure it wasn't a prank. Meanwhile, I stood there with my hands on my hips, wondering why are they hyping so much and who were BTS? Why were they making my friends crazy?

My cheeks burned, feeling embarrassed that I didn't know this famous group.

"Cindy, are you alright?" Yoko was by my side clapping her hands.

"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" I replied, fidgeting with my fingers.

"You don't like BTS?" She asked.

I stared at her blankly.

"You don't know...The Bangtan boys?" She whispered, with a little panic in her voice.

When I looked away, biting my bottom lip hard, her mouth turned into an 'O' shape and looked terrified.

"They are the best boy band in the world, and are also the hottest!" She screamed clutching her heart, making the others heads snap in our direction. I think I offended them.

"I haven't heard of them as much." I reasoned quietly.

"Girl, you need milk." Kim was also shook.
