One: Camp Half- Blood

Arina's Bow and Arrow

I am running through the wood with one idea in mind where I am going. Camp Half- Blood. But I know what I am running from, a bloodthirsty minion of Hades, no doubt. Man, I hate that guy. Tried of running, I turn to face the monster that is chasing me. I take out my bow and arrow ,it has a golden color but a beautiful white design. But my arrows, are just golden. Artemis, my Mother named it ntai'ava which is Greek for Diana. The monster that was chasing me came into view, it's a giant. Oh I'm screwed I thought. The giant came out me with his big hands but I threw a arrow into his left leg, making him with a big thud. The giant roars in pain. But then another giant comes. I run as fast as I can, but being a giant, the monster is always on my tail why won't he just kill me already?  I thought.
As I'm running, I see a sign that says Camp Half-Blood. I'm also there, once I go through I will be safe. But my body is telling me to stop, it's aching. Then, a girl with gray eyes and brown hair comes with a centaur, and some kids who look like Ares. "Leave her alone" the centaur says. But the giant disobeys, as he picks me up and leaves a nice big scratch on my face "Aah" I scream. Next thing I remember is the gray eyed girl attacking the giant while the others haul me into the camp, then I black out.

I awake with a ache in my head. I try to get up but it hurts too much.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you, that giant messed you pretty bad"

I turn my head to see the gray eyed girl looking at me with full of  amusement

"Yeah. I feel it. Am-am I in Camp Half-Blood?" I ask that makes her eyes widen

. "How do you know about this place?" I start messing with my fingers "Well, I'm a demigod my name is Arina and my mother is Artemis" I answer. The girl walks closer to my bed "What? What are you doing here?" she ask looking into my eyes waiting for an answer

"My Mom told me to come here, said I would be safe from Hades and his minions. I just left Olympus when not to far a giant run after me. I seemed to have lost it for a while. Then, when I was close to here. The giant reappeared I took it out. But then another giant came and you saw what happened" I concluded. The girl looked at me weirdly like she was trying to see if I was telling the truth.

"Okay. We'll let you sleep in my cabin. I'm Annabeth, Daughter of Athena" she says blankly

"Thanks. Um... Can I leave now?" I ask not wanting to be by myself in an infirmary all day. "Sure. But you need to meet someone so follow me". I obey and right when I hit the floor, I suddenly feel a little better. The sun hits my face. When I walk out the tent, I see centaurs playing volleyball, others swordfighting. While some are doing archery, that's more my style. Thinking of archery, I thought about my bow and arrow  "Annabeth do you know where my bow and arrow is?" I ask hoping she would know. That bow and arrow is the only thing I have of my Mom. "Yeah, Chiron has it" she answers I can tell she wants me to shut up. So I shut up. We walk in silence, but make small talk. Turns out we have common interest. But instead of liking archery she likes swordfighting. "We're here" she announces. The cabin is brown and built with stone, it has a sign that says "Chiron" in Greek. "Chiron, the girl is up" Annabeth shouts. A centaur walks out the cabin, he's the same centaur I saw before I blacked out.

"Hello, dear child" the centaur greets

"Sir, do you know who I am?" I ask he smirks

"Yes. I do. Arina Reynold, Daughter of Artemis, Goddess of Hunt, Moon, and Childbirth" he calls my title. I smile slightly

"Wow. You know all of that!". He smiles

" Now, child. Why are you running from Hades?" that's the question I hope wasn't asked. "Well, I don't know. He thinks I stole his helm" I answer. And it's true. I remember it like it was yesterday.

"Well. I'll see what I can do. But stay with Annabeth until then. Evil is coming"

I know sorry for the crappy chapter I swear it will get better. I had writers block towards the end and I got totally lazy. So... It will get better
