I grabbed my second gray hoodie and pulled the hood over my head. Then, I pulled the strings a little, as it tightened around my face. Next, I put on my dark red high top converse. I was wearing gray skinny jeans, and my dark red shirt under my hoodie.
"Bye." I waved to my little family, and headed off. I didn't wait for the bus. Like I said, it felt weird.
As soon as I got there, I was greeted by several bullies, one of them particularly mean and muscular. He led the group this time.
"Hey, what do we have here?" he asked the group. They all chuckled then grinned at me. Suddenly, I was dragged away by someone wearing a black hoodie, and was led to the boy's bathroom. I could hear the bullies yelling about where I went.
"What are you-" I began, but the person pulled off the hood and revealed their face.
"Hey." he smiled. It was Ace.
"Oh, hey..." I laughed a little at my own stupidity for not suspecting it being him.
"You okay?" he asked. I could see the worry in his eyes.
"Yeah...yeah, I'm fine." I replied, though I felt kinda neutral about that situation. After all, I was used to it.
He laughed a bit. "I'm glad."
I blushed. "A-anyway, what classes do you have this morning?"
"Oh, I have English, Social Studies, Math, and... um..." he thought for a moment.
"Uh... double period?" I suggested.
"Ah, yeah! Double period of Math." he chuckled a bit.
"Well, um... I'll see you in Math then." I waved and headed to ELA class.
I don't know how I can deal with this... It's so weird...
I walked off to ELA confused and somewhat disappointed. Was I his friend? What relationship did we have? And...why-?
I was cut off from my thoughts as I bumped into someone. I lifted my head slowly to see my... acquaintance, Kate.
"Oh, I'm so sorry! Are you okay?" she asked, then reached for my shoulder to comfort me.
"D-don't touch me!" I shouted, and moved away from Kate and speed walked down the hallway. I was getting stares everywhere, but I didn't care.
W-why was she...?
All these bad thoughts from the past rushed into my head. When my mother comforted me... I wanted to slap her hand away and tell her nothing could fix this.
Ugh!
I gripped my bag firmly and hurried to class.
As soon as I got there, it was really quiet. A couple of other teens stared at me. I sat down quietly and stared out the window.
I'm starting to hate it here a bit more...
