"Lance? Is everything okay?" Keith entered the room to see Lance laying on his bed.
"Everything's fine, Keith. What makes you think everything's not?" Lance hugged his pillow, facing the wall.
"I heard you shouting. Are you sure you're fine?" Keith sat on his bed, looking at the poor boy.
Lance let out a small sob, slightly muffled by his pillow. Keith bit his lip and laid next to Lance staring at the ceiling.
"It's gonna be okay, Lance."
Lance turned around, placing his head on Keith's chest, "How are you so sure?"
Keith cautiously wrapped his arms around Lance, "Pidge found a way to temporarily restore your vision."
Lance didn't move, "Just temporarily?"
"Yeah but it means she's getting closer to a permanent solution."
Lance stayed silent, listening to Keith's heartbeat.
"If you don't want to do it, I won't force you. But I think you should." Keith played with Lance's hair.
"I want to, I do. But what's the point? It'll just go away and I'll be in the dark again."
"Lance ... I —"
"I don't want it. I don't want to go through with it. But tell Pidge thank you."
"Lance, c'mon. You've been so sad lately, maybe this could help."
"It's not the only reason I've been sad."
"What else is bothering you?"
"The person I love doesn't love me and I actually thought I had a chance."
"Who do you love?"
"You."

"I really fucked up with Keith, didn't I?" Lance mumbled as Pidge set the plate down next to his bed.
"What did you say to him?" Pidge adjusted her glasses.
"I told him I loved him."
Pidge's eyes widened, "You did what?"
"And he hasn't come to see me since. I miss him." Lance curled up into a ball, "I really miss him."
"I'll talk to him. Are you sure you don't want to do the temporary?"
Lance stayed silent and Pidge took that as her cue to leave.

"I love you, Lance. I love you too, Lance. Yo yo, I too share romantic feelings for you. No, that's stupid. Just a simple I love you will do. But then I've ignored him for like a week so it needs to be special." Keith rambled to himself in the mirror.
"What the fuck, Keith?" Pidge entered Keith's room.
"Language!" Shiro scolded, walking by.
Pidge rolled her eyes, "Why are you ignoring Lance?"
"I ... I don't want to talk about it." Keith looked down, staring at his (weird ass) shoes.
"Too bad. You're breaking his heart. He's broken already, did you have to make it worse?"
"I didn't mean to. I just ... I'm scared."
"Scared of what? He's the one that confessed."
"I'm scared because I love him too. And I don't even know how to love."
