"MADDISON!" Steven yelled from the living room; Steven is my older and stronger brother he's been violent with me for weeks but my parents always thing I've fallen off my skate board when they see my black eye or broken limbs, Whenever he yelled my name I knew I had to hide fast and good or else it's going to get ugly.
"MADDISON GET YOUR FAT ASS DOWN HERE NOW!" Steven cried again more upset i knew i was going to get it because my parents were both drug dealers and were never home me and my brother were accidents from mothers other line of 'Work' we don't know who our fathers are all I know is he was a good lay....not really what I wanted to hear about my 'father'. After the first incident with Steve they sent us to different schools I went to North Valley high were he went to the boot camp for troubled teens across the border he always comes home on the weekend and beats me silly.
"THATS IT IM COMING UP THERE!" before we ran up the stairs I quickly packed a small bag and carefully jumped out of my second story window landing in the soft bushes below running for my life
"MADDISON!" He screamed out my name now but I didn't turn around I kept running until I found Ethan's house; Ethan was gay but he was the best most caring person I have ever met his mother didn't like me that much tho.... "Ethan! I need help!" I cried banging on the door at 1am his mother answered
"Go away Mady its 1am" Mrs Robinson said
"No please Steven is trying to kill me!" Little did I know tears were falling down my cheeks ruining my eyeliner but it was the key to get Mrs Robinson to open the door. "Please come inside I'll call the police for you" She said closing the door behind me as I ran into Ethan's room to find him asleep, I didn't want to wake him so I sat down in his game chair it was quite comfy but the speakers buzzing made it impossible to sleep. As i started to drift off to sleep I hear police sirens outside Ethan's window.
"What's going on?" Ethan said half asleep
"I don't know" I said back forgetting he didn't know I was there
"Maddy? What are you doing here? Don't tell me Steven again" He saw the pain in my eyes when I looked upon his face he knew right away I was in trouble and I needed help fast, Ethan jumped out of bed only in his boxers showing off his six pack I tried to look away but I'm a teenage girl I couldn't help it.
"Mum what did you do?!" I heard Ethan say from another room they kept up the babbling when the police knocked on the door
"Excuse me ma'am were here to get the girl" One officer said but it was to last as they reached Ethan's room I had already bolted into the nearby animal park, I ran to the little cave me and Ethan found as kids and I decided to stay there for the night because I couldn't go home in fear of being beaten and I couldn't go back into town they would be looking for me everywhere "I have no one I'm all alone" I said to myself as I cried myself to sleep
