IRIS

Chapter One

IRIS' POV

'beep beep! '
'beep beep! '
'beep be-' "ugh!  Will you just shut up?!"
I rolled over to stop my annoying alarm then I put my head back down to enjoy my amazing sleep. I was finally happy that I got to sleep well without nightmares. I was drifting away into dreamland when I heard another disturbance, I screamed into my pillow, sighed and faced the direction the sound was coming from. It was coming from my phone, I sighed again and looked at the screen and turns out it was actually a reminder (mainly because I tend to forget things a lot:

  Reminder- photoshoot at 8:30am...P. S don't freaking forget IRIS' .

        I checked the time and it was presently 7:51am, I was supposed to be up by 6 and now I'm going to be late. AGAIN.

      "Fudge" I said out loud and proceeded to get out of bed, in the process of rushing to come down from my bed my legs got tangled in my sheets and down I went.
     
"Ow!" I whined.

        I sighed and stood up, made my bed and ran into the bathroom peeling my pajamas in the process.
       
        I turned on the shower and stepped into it, I took my carrot flavoured soap (not that I've tasted it before..that would just be weird^.^) and rubbed it all over my body then I poured some of my vanilla flavored shampoo (okay okay I have a thing for flavors) on my hair and washed it.

         I turned off the shower, wrapped my towel around my body and stepped out. I scurried to my room carefully making sure I don't trip on anything thing like last time, picked out my favorite underwear which were black lace bra and panties. Then I wore my  short white flair skirt, an orange tank top and my white vans. I also took a black sweater just in case.
      
         I went to my mirror to put on some make up but since I didn't have enough time, I just ended up applying some eyeliner, mascara and lip gloss. I was satisfied with my makeup so I plugged in my blow dryer and dried my hair. I checked the time again it was 8:20. I started to panic. After  blow drying my hair, I let in a high ponytail. I grabbed my favorite black backpack and shoved my sweater phone and some money inside it. I checked the time again it was 8:29

       Geez just a minute left. I  thought to myself.

         I jogged downstairs and grabbed my motorcycle keys off of my kitchen counter, ran to the front door and went outside to my garage to bring my motorcycle out (yeah I have a motorcycle...pretty cool right :-D)

         I put my keys in and started the bike, it immediately responded and roared to life then I put my helmet on. I rode off to my destination. Thank God there wasn't any traffic, or else I would've been a human kabob. I shrugged off the thought and parked my bike and took off into the studio shoving my helmet at Xavier the janitor, I realised what I did and quickly turned around to apologize to him. He just smiled at me and muttered "no problem".

         I barged into the room and saw a really pissed looking Ivy. Oh no, I'm in big trouble. She saw me and gave me one of her famous Ivy glares. Lord they could make a person piss their pants. She started to walk away, I quickly took off after her to apologize.

      "Iris where the heck have you been?!" She shrieked "Do you know how long I've been waiting? You promised  you would be on time,  but no, you couldn't keep it. Thank God I covered for you or else you would've been a human kabob"

        "Yeah, that's what I said" I murmured. She glared at me again and turned around to walk away but I held her arm to stop her.

          "Look Ivs, I'm sorry okay.. Yesterday was just really tough on me. It was my anniversary with that son of a b*****, and memories just came flooding back. And do you know the weirdest thing? I actually slept very well, no nightmares an-" "Look Iris, I understand okay, I'm your best friend right?" I nodded

          "And I love you but you shouldn't let that good for nothing he-goat get to you and ruin your chance of fulfilling your dreams. Never let him get under your skin or affect you again okay?

         I smiled. "Yes mother" She chuckled. "Now give me a hug" she opened her arms wide but I stepped back and scrunched up my face. "Ew no! I'll get cooties" I said.  She fake gasped and put her hand on her chest to show she was hurt.

   "That just broke my heart into a billion pieces  and it can never be fixed" She said seriously. I tried to hide my smile and moved closer to her putting my left hand on her shoulder and replied.

   "suck it up"
   
   "like a cock" she quickly replied.

    This made me erupt into fits of laughter. It wasn't long before she joined me too. Ivy Valentino really knows how to make me laugh even in situations worse than this. That's why I love her, she understands me more than anyone else. We continued to enjoy our moment, but unfortunately good things don't last forever...

      "IRIS!"

      Lord help me........

So the first chapter is up and I hope  you guys love it.
This is my first story ever  and I'm kinda new to all this and I know I'll make a lot of mistakes in the process, but I want  all your support, it'll  really mean a lot  me.
