  T'CHALLA'S POV

  I turned to Captain Rogers and asked him,"Do you think she'll say yes?"

  Captain Rogers chuckled and replied,"I wouldn't stress about it. She'll say yes. I know her."

  Captain Rogers and I were referring to my girlfriend, Jade, who was actually born and raised in Wakanda. She had met Captain Rogers during her time in Sokovia, which ended up in The Captain saving her life.
  He brought her back here, yet Jade and I practically grew up together. There were sometimes where we did not see one another, but it was when I was away on business.

  Jade, she was independent, yet I knew she would be here when I needed her at my side.

  I smiled over at Captain Rogers and said,"Thank you. Barnes is doing well, by the way. He should be fine."

  Captain Rogers sent me a smile and shook my head, before he left back to New York. As I waited for Jade to arrive, Mother walked in and kissed my cheek.

  She said,"Don't be so stiff, my son. Jade will be surprised, but a good surprised. She needs this."

  I nodded and Jade ran in the room, along with Nakia. Nakia and Jade were inseparable, but they also had their own language. I had yet to understand it.
  Nakia bowed to me and left with Mother, then Jade ran to me.

  She said,"T'Challa, I have something to tell you."

  I asked her,"What do you have to tell me?"

  Jade cupped my face and gave me a kiss saying,"I love you."

  I smiled at Jade and wrapped my arms around her saying,"I love you, too, Jade. I have something I have to tell you, well speak with you about."

  Jade nodded, and I guided her to my throne room. Jade went to sit down, but I stopped her. She was confused yet she stood still.

  I took both of her hands and looked her in the eyes saying,"Jade, the two of us have been through a lot together. Even when papa thought you were a bad influence on me."

  Jade chuckled and smiled at me, before I finished saying,"But you helped me through the hardest points in my life. That night you stayed with me till I finally drew the courage to face everyone, you helped me get there. It made me imagine what it would be like to not have you by my side. I cannot have that, so Jade, will you marry me?"

  Jade squealed and yelled,"DOES THIS MEAN I'M OFFICIALLY A QUEEN?? I HAVE MORE POWER THAN YOU???"

  I laughed and placed the ring on Jade's finger, already knowing her answer. She just pulled me up and kissed me.
  I kissed her back and broke the kiss.

  Jade hugged me and asked,"Did Steve have anything to do with this?"

  I replied,"Well, he gave me motivation that you would accept my proposal. I didn't think you'd say yes because of your mood lately."

  Jade laughed and squeezed my arm saying,"You should've told me about my attitude recently. Well, at least tried to. T'Challa don't worry about that. I am on my period. No biggie."

  I cleared my throat and nodded, breaking the hug between Jade and I.

  I asked Jade,"Are you feeling okay?"

  She nodded and said,"Yes. I'm great. When I'm queen T'Challa, I'm going to tell you what to do all the time. You would have to do it, cause' I would be THE Queen."

  I chuckled and said,"Okay, Jade. I'll let you have it, but there is more to being Queen than telling others what to do and being beautiful. There is way more than that."

  I walked past Jade, and she yelled,"WHAT ELSE IS THERE?!!"
