I'll tell you all I know of the man, he had and has a scar stretching from his right cheek to his left brow, arching over his nose and bright pink. His nose is large with a quizzical shape, and his eyes a pale, pale blue. Now the scar did play a hand in his eye color, for he reports that they were once dark as ash, but it was his blindness that gave them their undead hue.
He had hinted to being a squire and part of a great army, but he refused and refuses to say when and where, only that he was destined to be a warrior. A great warrior, but upon a sparring match with a jealous older boy he was cut to the bone of his face, and lost his sight.
The validity of his statements have been in question for some time, but despite his untrustworthy nature he is quite helpful. It would appear that he only seeks to help. He himself said "this the mark of a shame filled man who seeks only to serve, and so I humble myself to the servitude of man"
What is his shame? He will never say.
