Awkwardly Soulmates

"He's not my red string, right?" Marinette asked herself. "No, surely not!"

"You okay, Marinette?" Adrien looked at her, seeming a little bit anxious. Chloe huffed in front of them, crossing her arms, and pouting.

The bluenette looked up, a bit startled. "Y-yeah!" She said.

"Are you sure? You're looking a bit paler than usual.." He said, looking at her face. Adrien realized what he was doing and looked away. "S-sorry! I--uhh.."

"I-it's fine!" She blushed. Marinette turned her head the other way, hoping he wouldn't see her blushing face. Nathaniel and Chloe watched from their seats and complete jealousy was shown on their faces. Chloe looked more enraged that Nathaniel - who was way calmer that she was.

It's been 4 hours since they left Paris. Half of the plane was asleep except for the pilot - of course, and the model and seamstress. Chloe fell asleep before anyone else, beauty sleep she called it. Nathaniel fell asleep after. Everyone slowly dozed off, leaving the two classmates to sit in a comfortable silence.

Marinette's eyelids were slowly becoming heavier, and Adrien noticed. "Hey, you should sleep. It's pretty late, and I can tell you need some shuteye." He smiled sweetly.

"How 'bout you? You seem you could use some sleep too." She said.

"Heh, I'll go to sleep after you,"

"Fine. I just need to take.. these pigtails out." Marinette took out the hair ties which held her pigtails in place. Her hair swooped down onto her shoulders.

"I've certainly never seen you with your hair down. It looks good, you should wear it more often." He said. This comment made Marinette blush. (so much blushing!)

"T-thanks!" She stuttered. Ugh! I was doing so well earlier!

Soon enough, Marinette dozed off. Adrien noticed that her head was positioned uncomfortably. His instincts got the best of him. He gently took her head and placed it on his shoulder, where it laid restlessly. Marinette's soft breathing soothed him, causing him to doze off as well. His head laid atop of hers.

Meanwhile, in the cargo department, Tikki and Plagg enjoyed their time together. Once in a while, they would poke their little heads out to watch their holders, flounderingly communicating to each other, blushing and slowly fall asleep together.

"Tikki?"

"Yeah?"

"Do you think they'll find out each other's identity?" Plagg questioned.

"Pffttt!!" Tikki laughed. "With obliviousness like that? Definitely not." Plagg laughed with her. "But, I mean if we help, they could possibly find out."

"I missed you, Tikki." He smiled.

"Same to you, Plagg."

The morning came, waking up the passengers one by one. "Adrikins!"

"Marinette!"

"Guys! Wake up!" Chloe and Nathaniel said. The sleeping teenagers awoke.

"What? What time is it?" They asked, startled.

"We'll be landing soon," Nathaniel said. "Maybe in an hour."

"You snore when you sleep, MariTrash." Chloe teased.

"No she doesn't!" Nathaniel defended.

"Whatever," Marinette groaned. "Stop fighting, it's not a big deal."

"Anyways, again, what time is it?" Adrien asked.

"Uh, it's 10:31."
