They were driving in the dark of night. Around 2 or 3 am, when it's darkest out. She gazed out of the window to her right and she saw them. Still and pale. Like phantom ghosts suck in the thick mist; almost lost. She squeezed his hand a bit tighter. In fear that one day she would find his name amongst those pale ghosts. She could see herself there, among the white graves. With his favorite flowers in hand. She was kneeling, out of place compared to the dead white graves. She blinked and looked over at him. He was tired from driving so late, but she looked past that and saw who he was.
