"Hey, so what was it you guys wanted to talk to me about?" I said taking a seat next to James. "uh.. Uh uh... It uhh. We were uhh. It's about uhh. TOMORROW!!" Mel said. "we need to plan out how your hair and makeup is going to look tomorrow!!" she smiled. James stood up, grabbed her arm and took her outside. "we'll only take a minute." he told me.

James came in. . " yea. Mel's gonna have test tries on you tonight and choose the best one." James instructed. Mel walked through the door with bags full of make up and hair stylers. "I always carry these babies wherever I go." her voice was hoarse from struggling to carry those two bags in. HOWNMUCH MAKEUP DOES ONE GIRL NEED?!?!?!

***Mel's POV***

"Hey Mrs. S! Is Allie home?" i asked Al's mom. "No sorry honey. She went to the mall with a guy named, Jason? i think." her mom said washing dishes. "Oh okay, thank you!" I got in my car and speeded down the road to the mall.

After hearing James explain what happened to Alea's ex best friend, I was ready to get my hair curler out, heat it up, and shove it up his ass! I was NOT letting him drug my best cousin. Just thinking this made me tighten my hands on the steering wheel and speed even faster. Thank god the cops weren't around. i was going wayy over the speed limit.

When i arrived at the mall, i got a call from Allie. "HEY! yea... i'm here! ... okay bye." A few minutes later, i see Allie coming out of the double doors and walking towards my car. "I called to see if you were home but your mom said you were here. So i just drove over. Something wasn't right and i needed to see you ASAP. I'll tell you all about it at James's house." I said driving away from parking at the no parking zone.

"Hey Mel, there's something i gotta tell you about." she sighed. "What is it?" i made glances at her and back on the road. "Kisses aren't as magical as people say they are..." she sighed louder. "YOU GUYS KISSED?!?" i smiled, then i remembered WHO she just kissed and my smiled left my face. "yea..." she didn't sound too pleased either.

i decided to give her some older sister advice that she would've known by now if she did have an older sister. i was all she got. Me and James. "Al. Kisses aren't magical unless you're doing it with the right person." I sighed. "But you're the one who said that he might be the one!" she said, poking my side.

"I was wrong, okay? That's what we need to talk about when we get to James."

I sat on the couch across James and Alea took a seat next to him. "Hey, so what was it you guys wanted to talk to me about?" Shit. I probably don't need to worry about her anymore because she ahd a bad time with him today, right? She'll stay away from him for sure. i just know it. And i didn't want to ruin her last banquet as an eighth grader by bombing her with the fact that Jason has a history of dosing girls with Rohypnol and... well you know how the rest goes...

""uh.. Uh uh... It uhh. We were uhh. It's about uhh. TOMORROW!! we need to plan out how your hair and makeup is going to look tomorrow!!" i just smiled. Then i saw James give me a look, got up, grabbed my arm and pulled me outside.

"ARE YOU CRAZY!?!?!?!" James sceamed. "The drive over here, she told me that she kissed him... she didn't seem so satisfied. And knowing her, she'll stay away from him, just so that she doesn't feel uncomfortable. and you wouldn't want to ruin her last banquet, would you?" James considered this and he nodded in approval. He went back into the house.

I ran to my car to get out two bags filled with makeup and hair products and stylers. Ugh, i hated carrying these things. I walked through the door and explained to Allie, "I always carry these babies wherever i go." God these things were HEAVY!!!!

***Allie***

We all ran next door to my house. "Hey Mrs. S" they both said while running up the slightly curved stairs up to my room. Mel closed my door and i sat on my bed that was right in front of the mirror door closet. "So what's first?" i asked. "First, we need music." James pointed out, putting my green laptop on my lap.
