"Find anything interesting?" Tyler's mom asked. He shook his head "I met two guys but that's about it" he thought about telling her about the park, but for some reason he decided not to, it didn't seem that important anyways.

Tyler stared at his room. Most of the things were unpacked already. There were still a few boxes left. They were mostly filled with clothes and useless things he didn't even know he had. He looked out his window. Everything was quiet, there was no one outside. Except there was. It was the mystery boy again. His red hair gave it away. That, and his bright white sweater and black scarf. He was just walking there, in the middle of the road, almost like a ghost. Tyler wondered what he was doing out at this time. But that thought didn't last long when his youngest brother ran into his room "Tyler! Tyler! Come quick! Quick quick quick!"

Don't get him wrong, Tyler loved his family, but not when they did things like this. Tyler's mother had been bugging him to get a girlfriend ever since he was 14. She would even pay a girl, or her parents, to make her ask Tyler out. Of course, he always said no and screamed at his mother. Yes, he got in trouble every single time, but that wasn't gonna stop him. He walked downstairs with his little brother only to find his mother talking to a girl that looked around his age. The girl didn't seem to be paying attention. She was looking out the window and occasionally nodding.

"Tyler!" His mother called. The girl looked towards him "Hey" she said in a friendly tone. She wasn't trying to seduce him, she was truly just being nice. "Mother!" Tyler fumed "ok before you start screaming listen to m-" "no!" Tyler was sick of this. He turned to the girl. The urge to scream at her was big, but she was probably forced into doing this "oh! Right um, the name's Hayley" she held out her hand. Tyler slowly walked towards her "I'm Tyler" he said and shook her hand. He turned to her mother who was smiling. He took out twenty dollars from his pocket and handed it to Hayley "here, take it and then you can leave. You don't have to be here, you know" she stared at the money "actually uh, I came here to ask you if you knew anything about um, about a guy who died a month ago"
