two: i didn't see it coming
jimin and jisoo went into their rooms to change into their pyjamas before sitting in front of the television with their duvets for warmth but mainly comfort. the irritating itch of having thin strands of hair sprawled across your face was doing something to jisoo that made her tick. she grabbed a hairband from the nearby drawer and tied her hair into a tight bun, assuring herself that it won't go loose. jimin sat beside her, his legs sitting on her lap as he leaned backwards.
"i think you're getting a little too comfortable there." jisoo pointed at his feet, pushing them off his lap as they dragged his whole body down with him. he gave this adorably cute pout, knowing full well that that face was her ultimate weakness. "you devil." she mumbled before grabbing his legs by the fabric of his trousers and dropping them on her lap with a heavy thud. he simply grinned without a word, his eyes thinning as he did so.
today was a thursday, which meant movie night. chaeyoung had to work night shift so jisoo left her at the hospital and is going to go pick her up later because it gets dark, especially after her shift and wandering in the streets of seoul at night is not something jisoo would want to imagine. she promised jimin she'd watch a movie with him instead of holing up in her room like she always does after work. so in favour of him, she played the first horror movie that appeared on the list and placed the remote control on the coffee table.
from her peripheral vision, she could see jimin tensing up a little. the movie hasn't even reached its climax yet and he was already quivering in fear. his jaw was clenched, his fists firmly gripping the pillow. his whole body stiffened and once the ghost appeared on the television screen as a close up, it was jimin who had reached his climax. he let out a scream, a terrified cry as his lips were no longer in a stable position when they began to tremble. he was squealing now, burying his head in the crook of jisoo's neck as he muttered words unknown to the ear.
as jisoo watched him cling to her like a sloth, she couldn't help but giggle. the corners of her lips curved upwards into a smile and she guffawed at the sight. her throat was closing in and her laughter came to an end, giving out a dry chuckle when she peered over at his petrified face. his cheeks were tinted bright red due to embarrassment and his shoulders folded in with each other. his face was so pale, it's looked like someone sucked the soul out of him.
"are you okay?" she managed a croak after her episode of continuous non stop laughter.
"shut up!" he slapped her shoulder and charged off to his room, the playfulness in his actions making jisoo laugh only more.
"don't forgot to write in the J book!" she yelled down the corridor, just before hearing the slam of his door, the strength possibly ripping the door off its hinges.
the J book was a minor part of his recovery. jimin has been suffering from severe depression and anxiety. he used to get frequent panic attacks and sometimes still does but just less often. jisoo and chaeyoung treat him like the little brother they've never had and care for him just like his own family would. the love, the bond they share is inseparable. jimin moved into the share house coincidentally whilst he was undergoing treatment at the hospital with jisoo, but nonetheless it has made it easier — especially when jisoo and chaeyoung are there to help him in case he has an unexpected seizure.
because jisoo didn't want to get him or any other patient addicted to any medication, she decided to try other methods to help him with his problem. so she tried a handful of things, one of the things is that J book, or diary if you'd like to call it. everyday she'd remind him to write in that book before going to sleep, he'd write anything. it could be relevant to his thoughts or current emotions or it could be random. jisoo promised she wouldn't read it, it was just something jimin would pour his feelings into. he'd write what he's grateful for or what he appreciates, things like that.
it was 1:30am and chaeyoung's shift ends at 2am, so jisoo grabbed her keys and went out the door. she still had her pyjamas on but she wasn't planning to leave the car so what's the point of getting changed into sensible clothes. in her eyes, it's was obviously comfort over fashion. chaeyoung could easily have taken her own car since she had a license and her own vehicle, but jisoo figured she'd be tired after her long shift so she went to go pick her up.

"i don't have work until 3pm." chaeyoung stated, grabbing a champagne bottle from the fridge and piping it open, pouring a glass for both her and jisoo.
"i have work at noon. you're so lucky." jisoo groaned, taking a huge sip.
"woah, calm your horses-"
"i'm going all out tonight." jisoo snatched the bottle from chaeyoung's hands and downed almost half the bottle in one shot.
