Chapter 13

"Ace, you ain't coming?" Tiana asked me one more time. She's all dressed up and has full makeup. She and Mel are going to the club with their other new friends. She said it's a luxurious club and it's their friend's treat. She wanted me to come but... "Tiana, I'll be fine here. Go and have fun." she smiled and went outside of the room. "Alright, if you said so. I'll be back late. Don't leave the door unlock. Make sure that you eat dinner--" "Just go Tiana." she laughed and said 'okay' then closed the door. I shook my head. I sighed and decided to wash and change my clothes. I plan to stroll around Namsan Park. I texted Dawn but she said she can't go out tonight. Her mother won't let her. So it's gonna be me, myself, and I. Pity but I'm fine. I'm used to being alone anyway. Alone catching my own self from falling too hard. Okay, I was just kidding about the alone part.

I dressed warmly since it's cold outside. I just brought my phone, keys, and wallet then locked the door. I came to Ms. Levi's room and told her that I'll be going out. I went outside the dorm and saw Sky doing his night jog. He stopped near me. His face is still expressionless. I inwardly sighed. I should teach him a thing or two about expressions. "Where are you going?" he asked. "Don't you know how to smile?" I asked back and he frowned. "Aren't you familiar with the question and answer sequence?" I scrunched my face. "I'm going to see Namsan Park. Wanna come?" What the heck did you just say Ace? Even Sky was taken aback from my sudden invitation. Well it's not bad to tag him along right? You're regretting it Ace. I cleared my throat. "So what do you say?" He avoided my gaze and covered his mouth using the back of his hand.

"I'll just change my clothes. I'll be quick." I smiled and nodded. "Okay, I'll wait." He ran inside the dorm while I sat on the nearest bench. I took out my phone and opened my Instagram account just in time for it to notify me that Baek Hyun is live on his Instagram. "Just in time!" I squealed and watched his live video. It looks like he's in a bedroom. He was greeting fans and answering questions whenever it flashes on his screens. I also commented on a bunch of good stuff like 'take care of your health' and 'be safe always'. Something like that. I saw Sky went out and he sat beside me and peered on what I'm watching. "Wait a second. We'll leave after this." I said, not leaving my sight on my screen. On my peripheral vision Sky just shook his head and crossed his arms in front of his chest and shut his eyes.

Baek was talking about how his day went and their activities suddenly Kyung Soo appeared and said a short 'hi' to us and told us to sleep already since it's late and don't watch Baek Hyun's live. I chuckled. EXO loves their fans so much and cares for them. I remember that one event when EXO wasn't supposed to perform already since the organizer took the money but they did for the sake of the fans that were waiting for them. How can you just hate them? Baek Hyun said 'Good Night' in different languages but forgotten how to say it in English. He kept asking but no one replied. I bit my lip and answered his question. "Oh! Good Night! Gamsahabnida, Eyssi"(Trans: Thank you, Ayze) "Oh my gosh!" I suddenly shrieked and that made Sky startled. "The heck?" he muttered. The live ended but my heart is still beating fast. "Oh my Zeus!" I turn to Sky and suddenly hugged him due to too much happiness. "Oh my gosh! Baek noticed me. He noticed and even mentioned my username!!" I was shaking Sky. He grunted and grabs my nape which made me stopped. If I move it'll be ticklish.

"What do you think you're doing?" He was glaring at me. "Oops. Sorry." I said and do a peace sign. He shook his head and exasperatedly sighed. He let's go of my nape and stood up. "Do you still have a plan on strolling around Namsan park?" he said with a forehead creased. I chuckled and nodded. "Let's go," I said and walked ahead of him. As soon as we reached Namsan Park I asked Sky to take me a picture. He obeyed forcefully though. We walked around and saw couples all over the place. Now that I think about it we looked like dating. "What are you looking at?" My eyes widen in surprise and avoided his gaze. "Nothing..." "Don't even think that we're like dating." I glared at him. "I'm Not!" he smirked and shrugged. "If you say so." he walked a bit faster.

What the? I catch up with him. I looked at him and his face was clear. Like the storm had passed. "Sky," I called and he hummed in response. "Are you okay? Do you have a fever or something?" I questioned and tried to check if his forehead is hot or whatnot. He laughed and caught my hand. "Relax, Ace. I'm completely fine." I stilled. He laughed. He actually knows how to laugh. "Now, what's wrong with you?" I looked at him. "Who're you?" he hits my head though it was just light it still hurts. "Ya!" I yelled and he laughed even louder. I'm stilled again. I smiled. "It's my first time hearing you laugh." he stopped and glared at me. "Whatever," he said and walks ahead of me. And Mr. Grumpy is back. What the heck?! "Sky, wait up!" I ran to him but suddenly bumped into someone and his paper bag fell over. "Oh my gosh I'm sorry," I said in Korean. "Oh no, it's okay," he said. His voice deep that it reminds me of someone. I looked up to see... Oh my gosh. "Kyung Soo," I muttered. He looked at me. Shock. I just saw him in Baek Hyun's live a while ago. He grabs my wrist and quickly dragged me out of the crowded place to the nearest van. "What the--" I didn't continue what I was to say when he glared at me. We get inside and he shuts the door.

My mouth was shut and my eyes were all over the place. I don't know how to react. This is EXO's van? Oh my gosh... I'm inside their van. I heard Kyung Soo sighed and looked at me. "You're gonna cause trouble for me," he said and I don't even know what to say. "Uh--" "Stay still," he said and I closed my mouth instantly. "Hyung, let's go back to the dorm," he said to the driver and the car started moving. I was to say something but when he exasperatedly sighed I just shut my mouth. I gulped. What just happened to me? I received a text from Sky. I opened it. He was asking where am I and that I suddenly disappeared out of nowhere. "Don't even dare tell anyone where you are right now." Kyung Soo said in a warning tone. I nodded and texted Sky to go back to the dorm by himself and there was an emergency. Gosh! I even used Dawn as an excuse. I looked at Kyung Soo who's resting his head in the car's seat and eyes were closed.

I checked my wristwatch and it's almost curfew. I bit my lip and attempted to utter a word but Kyung Soo's eyes opened and that halted what I was going to say. "Stay here for a while. You and I are gonna be in trouble if you'll go now. I'll be the one who'll explain it to the members." he said and the car stopped. What? I didn't get what he meant. He went out of the van and he looked at me. "Aren't you going out?" he said. "But you said--" He looked at me and I gulped and obeyed him. We're inside a private lot with a big house. I followed him going through the veranda. And a sudden of realization hits me. Oh my god! He entered the passcode and the door opened. "Kyung Soo-ya! Welcome back!" Baek Hyun suddenly appeared and paused the moment he saw me. Oh my god! This is not happening.
