29. BONUS CHAPTER 2

ARYA'S POV

I was in the pantry, making breakfast, waiting for them to come bounding down the stairs, demanding breakfast. I looked at my husband, to see him looking at me smiling.

"How many more minutes until they come for breakfast?" he asked.

"1 minute." I said, challenging him.

"2 minutes" he said with an equally challenging look.

We stood waiting, looking at the stairs for the two troublemakers, and after a minute, we heard the sound of foot steps to see our daughter coming and right behind her, our son Kyler.

"I WIN!!! LOSER!!!" I said doing a little happy dance in front of Ryker.

"Show off" He muttered, pouting.

"Good morning mommy and daddy" Our daughter Anya said happily, while going to sit on Ryker's lap.

"Good morning." Our son came and slumped on a stool, still sleepy.

"Good morning darlings" I said while piling pancakes for the four of us and sitting with my little family.

Ryker and I had our second child, four years after Kyler was born. We were excited to have a daughter to our family. Now Kyler is eight years old. Already playing football at school and causing havoc where ever he went. He looks just like his father, even his personality is pretty similar to him, who is such a momma's boy.

Anya is four years old and we named her after my sister. She has pitch black hair like Ryker's and my jade eyes. She's a little troublemaking drama queen, who has got her father wrapped around her little finger.

Ryker and Kyler are very protective over Anya and I. I just feel bad for the guys who'll date Anya.

I looked at Kyler, who was rolling his eyes but looking lovingly at his little sister, who is animatedly telling a story to them, probably exaggerating an incident at her daycare center.

Ryker was looking at our daughter with amusement and affection. He noticed me looking at him and smiled lovingly.

I looked around at my amazing family, who mean the world to me.

And to think that this all happened because of a prank call.
