Everyday Rose waited for something good to happen to her, something that would usually not happen to her.
Everyday Rose never had something good to talk about, it was always been family and how she had never really met her parents. She never really had anyone to talk to, so she never had to dwell into talking about it.
She picked up her toast from in the toaster, spread some butter and jam onto it and sat down by the television."Fluffles, what should I watch" she asked her fluffy cat, ears twitching towards the telly,"did you just say the news channel?" Her cat kept her slightly happy and hopeful.
The news was on; a unsuspecting phrase caught Rose's attention. Her old school(LCA, also known as Lestwieg Curin Academy) was sadly caught on fire.
"34 students killed, 62 injured," the news reporter went on.
Rose could feel crystal clear tears gliding past her cheek. She watched in horror as her best friend was passing by the remembrance board."-James Welnoft, and Kristie McLaren."
She tried to take her mind off of this, it worked; only for 3 seconds.
Toast still in her hand, she slowly jogged over to Kristie's house. Bouquets of yellow, pink and light blue flowers flooded the surrounding of her house. Rose knocked on the door, placing an arrange of daisies on the door. They were Kristie's favourite flower.
Kristie's parents opened the door, each with a wet napkin in their eyes, drying up the sorrow and tears of their child's loss.
It was 10:30, Rose was 2 hours late for school; she had to get a move on.
She went about her regular school day, kept quiet, eating by herself, not being spoken to. Being alone.
She got home, she finished her homework; then went to bed.
