I panic alot. Especially around girls.
"Did you guys win today?" Melissa asked me, after dropping her books on the her desk. I had English with her and she's pretty much the only girl I feel comfortable talking to.
"Hell, we tied." I grunted as I placed my hands on my eyes and dragged them down my entire face. "We were pretty close though."
Melissa laughed, obviously mocking me that we lost. "You guys tied with the worst team in the district! Wow."
"Shut up you shortie. I wasn't in the mood that day." Huffing out a breath Mrs. Baker snapped her head up and shot both of us a death glare.
"Troye and Melissa, is your conversation more important than my lesson here about writing an expository essay?" She tapped her foot on the ground and crossed her arms.
"No."
Yes. You're just a bitch and no one likes what you teach, expository is the boring-est shit on the planet.
"Then please pay attention." She turned back around on her heel and began writing on the board again.
"Then please pay attention." I made the most horrendous face while mocking her in a high nasal voice at Melissa, only loud enough for the whole class to hear me.
As they burst into laughter, she turned around again, setting her glare on me.
"Mr. Griffin. You've just earned a detention afterschool today.
Told you she was a bitch.

When the bell rang, I rushed out the room with Melissa and met up with Isabelle. We had lunch next together, so of course we sometimes run down there. You obviously can't be late for lunch.
As I walked, the girls kept blabbering about girly stuff so I walked on a few feet infront of them with my hands stuffed in my the pockets of my khakis.
I must've not been paying attention cause the next second, I felt someone slam into my chest. What..?
As I looked down, I noticed a girl with brunette hair patting her clothes and then looked up at me. When I saw her face my face poofed with redness. We made eye contact for a second before I looked down at my black converse, with my hand at the back of my neck.
Soon after our crash, Isabelle and Melissa jogged up behind me yelling out my name. Thank god. But when I turned around they had that stupid smirk on their face
"Wait, aren't you Lina Woods? The one everyone's been talking about?" Melissa spoke up with her hands behind her back as she smiled at the the girl named "Lina".
So this is her, the one people gossiped about.
"Ghost girl? Yeah, that's me."
Whoa, that's mean. They can't just judge her on the first day.
"Wow, 'Ghost Girl'? That's kinda rude, yet it sounds cool if you think about it. Anyways, I'm Isabelle." Lina and Isabelle both laughed a bit, then Melissa grabbed my arm, digging her nails in my skin. Forcing me to speak up.
"I'm Melissa. Oh! And this is Troye." I refused to speak, instead I just kept staring at my shoes.
I took a quick glance at the girl we just met, she had a confused look on her face.
"He's not good with girls." Melissa chuckled as she ripped away from her bloody grip. Damn you, Mel.
-
When time ticked by, school was out before I knew it.
"Lina! Come walk home with us!" Isabelle shouted behind me as she spotted Lina stumbling in the hallways.
"Come on Troye. If you don't talk to her this time, you'll regret your high school years." She threatened just when Lina Woods approached us.
Isabelle and Melissa both parted to their own streets, leaving me alone with the petite brunette.
Speak up Troye, don't be a pussy. My conscious laughed at me.
Taking in a deep breath I opened my mouth to let my words flow out.
"S-sorry I didn't really introduce myself earlier. I-I'm Troye Griffin.." I stuttered, feeling heat arose my cheeks I looked down and stuffed my hands in my pockets.
She smiled and introduced herself too, then held out her hand for me to shake. I slowly took her hand and weakly shook. My hand suddenly spazzed and jerked back after our little contact.
Feeling her smooth skin, made my heart leap out of my chest. This doesn't happen often.
What's this weird feeling I have?
