Nothing's more enjoyable than to remember those unreplacable memories as a child.
Those simple, yet all the same precious experiences you got to do when you were young, unattached to the real world and filled with pure bliss. The imagination were packed in our minds and almost anything could be our happy little pill. Everything seemed perfect when we were kids; nothing seemed to matter as long as you got someone to play with. The world was just a playground; a place were we could explore and discover. Nothing could be compared.
Especially experiencing it with a friend.
As a child, we all had that one particular friend that will forever be apart of our lives. A friend that you couldn't bring yourself to forget. A friend that lives a special place in your heart, and a friend that you'll always remember whenever you hear the word 'childhood'.
I had a friend like that before. Her name was Hana.
Yes, she was girl and she's still very dear to my heart. She was one of those friends that you couldn't bring yourself to replace. A friend that you could never trade in for something else or someone else. She was one of those friends that knows you. Get you. Yes, she was my bestest friend, no question asked.
Unlike any other friends that I had as a child, Hana was different. She was literally like the ying in my yang. My apple in my pie or the tooth in my paste--or whatever that Auburn chick sang in that song. The point is; Hana was that one special friend that I did everything with.
No seriously, we did everything together. Name a game you probably done as a kid, and surely Hana and I must have done it.
She wasn't just a friend; she was also the half of me as a kid. Yes, we were that close. And not just close-close, but we also lived together.
The thing is; Hana doesn't have parents. Well, not that we know off that is. My father's a haunt's man, and we live in this small town name; Hillgrove. It's a small town, partically surrounded by huge trees and hills. It's actually not that different from Bella Swan's town expect--there's no vampires or werewolves or anything dangerously cool that girls these days drool over for.
Talk about disappointment?
Well, you shouldn't be.
Cause ironicly speaking; my story isn't all that different from that unageable love affair stuff.
Like Bella--except I'm a dude--I actually did fall in love with an age free person. Except, mine is probably less exciting.
So like I was saying; My father's a haunts man.
One day, rather than bringing home a newly shot goose, Dad instead brought an asian girl whom he found in the woods wandering alone.
I was only six at that time and I wasn't really following on anything that was going on. The only thing that was clear enough to understand was that this girl was brought home by my Dad. Who is she? And why is she here?
Both of my parents tried to ask her some questions but she didn't know any rather than her name; Hana. She didn't know her parents nor how she ended up in the woods. Heck, she just shrugged when my parents asked how long she'd been lost out there.
She didn't even know her age, so we just assumed she was six since she doesn't seem that far from me.
It was amazing how she doesn't even look the slightest bit traumatic from being who-knows-how long she'd been lost. If anything, she was acting like the complete opposite of what my parents expected from her.
Since the very first day; she had always been the joyful, bubbly, outgoing asian girl.
She was such a positive, outgoing, mysterious child. So full of life and happiness. You would never get tired of looking at her. Especially at that everyday shining smile of hers.
