The Battle

*Good grief.*

Saiki sighed. Having a telepathic ability with a range of 200 meters, he can hear thoughts of people within this range. And so he can tell if someone was following him.

*This is so annoying.*

It was first day of school again. Summer vacation was over. It felt so fast for Saiki. Having to be away from the nuisances in his life for one month, summer vacation was totally bliss for him. Of course, he had prepared some plan, just in case something similar to his other summer vacation will happen again, that some of his annoying classmates will ruin the only moment of his life where he is disaster-free. If something like this will happen, like Nendou, Kaidou or the ultimate annoyance, Teruhashi will come over his house, he won't be disturbed, as he had already told his mom and dad to tell them he's not home and that he's away for summer vacation elsewhere. To avoid any accident, he also planned to teleport away so that his mom and dad's lie to them will be realistic.

And as predicted by Saiki, it really did happened. Luckily, this plan worked. Good thing he prepared this plan ahead of time.

But this was first not approved by his parents, as they want their son to spend this summer vacation with friends.

"No Kuu-chan. It would be great to spend this summer vacation with them.." His mom stated.

"That's right. Spending vacation with friends is fun Kusuo." His father added.

*I won't be asking you to do this if it's fun.*

"But Kuu-chan.."

His mother Kurumi always wanted her son to have friends, as any mother in the world desires for their child. Being unable to do anything about his supernatural powers, all she can do is pray that this powers won't hinder with her son's relationship with others. But it still did anyways. His father Kuniharu also feels the same. Even though he gains a daily bullied life from his son, he wants him to be a happy boy with a happy life.

"Do you ever feel bored just by being home watching some movies or reading some books?" His father asked while building his libeon.

*I wouldn't want to only stay at home if it's boring for me.*

"You still need to go out there!"

"Papa's right Kuu-chan! Go enjoy your youthful days!"

*If you want to help me enjoy my youthful days, go do just as I asked. Its a favor.*

Once Kurumi and Kuniharu heard their son's request, they have no choice but to agree, since he barely asks for a favor. But next time, they won't let it pass.

"Hahh.. It can't be helped." Kuniharu sighed.

"But only for this time Kuu-chan." Kurumi said. But she was planning that for the next time he asks for this again, she'll be rejecting it. To make it work more, she's going to make her always working demon face with matching deep voice that even Kusuo himself can't beat and refuse to.

As Saiki's parents agreed with his favor, he was able to enjoy his summer vacation. He was able to live every single day of his vacation hassle-free.

Throughout these days, Teruhashi is the one who visits a lot, bringing many excuses just as so she will not be mistaken by Saiki's parents that she was there to meet Saiki, although it is the real reason why she really came. Kurumi and Kuniharu had a hard time lying at her that Saiki's not home. She was their favorite girl after all. And for them, she's the one for their son.
