I was staring at all the walkers limping towards the fire I had created. In case you didnt know, zombies are attracted to really anything different than themselves. Fire, noise, the smell of flesh, moving things, and most important, People like me. My job in this world is to stay alive for really, I have no clue why I want to be alive. I have nobody, no dreams, no family or friends left because I know what happened to them as I ran solo away from home before the apocalypse. I sat staring at the infested, set on fire, broken down school. I was in a tree far enough away from the school but close enough to watch as walkers got burned as they aproached the light. I took out some medicine to help my headache. Before I ran out of the building I had grabbed some medicine from the school. The reason I burned the school was because that was where most of he walkers were and getting rid of a few in the small town I ran away to might help. it was a small city so not many walkers would come to the fire. I took out a can of sardines and ate them. After all thats all I had I was on the move. I had not found a farm where I could stay so for now im stuck. I heard some leaves below me russle and sticks break. I looked down as fast as I could and saw a walker. I grabbed my bow and arrows and aimed towards it as I put my bag over my shoulder with my food. I stood up slowly on the branch I was on and got better aim. the walkers moans got louder as it saw the fire and I decided I could kill it quickly but it would be a waste of an arrow untell I could get down. I slowly sat back down and rested my back against the trunk of the tree. I watched the walker limp away. I put  my combat boot on another branch as my body sat on another branch. I lost my grip on the branch my foot was on and lost balance. I quickly started to fall down the tree. I tried not to scream, I really did, but I did in pain of the branches scratching me and me falling so far up. I couldnt believe this! I tried to grab on to anything and I guess I was lucky because two branches caught me like someone holding onto me bridal style. I finally had stopped falling. I was almost at the end of the tree but I thankfully didnt fall on the ground. I hurt so much. I felt so weak and I passed out.
