Chapter 21

HUNTER

"Oh shit." Jack says to me. I nod and laugh a little.

"We can still go, I'm not stopping it." I say.

"Same. Nothings between me and Hunter to yeah." Grayson says.

We pull up to the Mall, entering. First we stop at the Vans store.

"Yes! I love Vans!" Me and Nate say at the same time.

I look at him to find him already looking at me. He winks and I blush.

From the corner of my eye, I see Ethan tense up.

ETHAN

If Nate really has the nerves to FLIRT with Hunter after he knows she's my Ex-girlfriend, he's seriously a douche.

We enter into Vans and I immediately go to the shoe section. I pick out some Maroon Vans and some Grey ones.

I see Hunter in the same bit, picking out some Army Green ones. Nate goes up to her, whispering something in her ear then pointing to some Black Old School Vans.

She giggles and takes them.

After we all have bought our Vans, Hunter asks if we can go into Forever 21 to get some clothes.

"Of course we can, beautiful." Nate says.

I roll my eyes, so tempted to punch him right now.

We walk into forever 21, Hunter gasps as she picks out some black high-waisted shorts. I'm about to say how good they'll look on her but Nate beats me to it.

"You'll look better than ever in those." He flirts.

She rolls her eyes playfully and picks them out.

She takes a few more things then we go to the Till.

She takes out $60 for all of her stuff but Nate already has his credit-card in his hand.

"No Nate, please. I'll pay." She says.

"Tuff shit." He laughs and hands the Woman his card.

She stamps her foot and sighs.

I laugh and she grabs her bag and we leave.

After shopping at a few more stores, we decide to go to McDonald's.

We walk to McDonalds, entering. The amazing smell off food hits her.

"Yessss, Maccy Ds in baeeee!" Hunter drags out her words.

"You're cute when you're excited." Nate says to her.

"You guys are gross." Aaron laughs.

"Yup." Jack and Grayson agree.

I stay silent.

We all sit down, waiting for our food to come.

Grayson sits in between me and Jack, and Hunter sits in between Aaron and Nate.

We all start joking around and just talking about random shit.

"So Hunter, why did you and Ethan break up?" Aaron asks out of now where.

All eyes go onto Hunter.

HUNTER

"So Hunter, why did you and Ethan break up?" Aaron asks. Everyone goes silent and all eyes are on me.

"Um, personal reasons." I say.

"Stop lying, why really?" Nate says.

I start to get really uncomfortable.

"Let's change the subject."  Ethan says.

I look down.

"No, shut up Ethan. Hunter, WHY did you break up with Ethan?" Nate demands.

The waitress comes and brings us our food.

"Shit, I need Ketchup." Nate says. He gets up and goes to get it.

I stay looking down, I'm on the verge of tears.

"Im sorry I have to go." I quickly say, getting up and leaving. The Mall wasn't far away from my new Apartment so I get there quickly.

I get in and lock the door, breaking down into tears. I slide down the door, with my head in my hands.

ETHAN

Nate gets back, questioning where Hunter went.

"Well you fuck heads made her so uncomfortable and scared." I spit.

"Yeah, you don't know what she's been through." Grayson says.

"I shouldn't have brought it up, I'm sorry Man." Aaron says.

"It's fine. You're not the one who should be apologising." I say, looking sternly at Nate.

"What?" He asks.

"You fucking YELLED at her." I say.

He looks down. "Whatever, let's not let this ruin our day." Jack says.

"No. Nate already ruined it." I say. I get up and go to Nate's apartment complex.

I go to the reception, asking for Hunters room number.

"I'm sorry sir, we can't give out that information. I can call her down though. What's your name?" The Lady says.

"Ethan, Ethan Dolan." I say.

She rings a number, which I guess it Hunters and starts speaking.

"Hello, Miss Parker. Someone named Ethan Dolan would like to talk to you. Should i send him up or you come down?" She ask into the phone.

I hear mumbling then the Lady says; "Okay Miss, he'll be right up."

They lady shuts the phone down, "Room 128."

I nod and go to the Lift, entering.

I finally stop at the 2nd floor, the lift doors open, leaving me with a long hallway. I walk down,

125, 126, 127, aha! 128." I say. I knock on the door, revealing a tired looking Hunter. She looks down, a tear dropping.

I walk I'm shutting the door behind me.

"It's okay Baby, it's okay." I say, hugging her tightly.

She cries in my arms. God I miss her.
