You can use a mixture of chalk and water to get a thick paste used similar to paint

I ran out of my white acrylic, but when I looked at the white chalk in front of me I had an idea.

The picture above was without the stars when I mixed the chalk and water. I carefully added it using a pencil (the brush just soaked up the water) and here is the outcome. I am extremely pleased with it, and I hope this helped you too.
