Jack Avery hasn't attended school in 2 years, he was bullied in the beginning for being different, for sticking out from a crowd, so he stopped talking. He became a mute. Which led to even more bullying. He had been a mute for 4 years, he was used to it, it was nice. That was until he met someone that just made him want to scream. 

                          
They made him want to shout to the whole world about how much he loved them.
