8:00 pm
A ghostly manor was inviting its onlookers in its dimly lit main hall. A man of tall stature pushed in the antique finish French door and stood at the entrance. The attendant put forward a mask and he entered the polished wooden dance floor. The floor had two storey high walls and a huge chandelier hung lowly from the ceiling giving a perfect feeling of a mediaeval European masquerade ball. His tall, strong frame captured in a midnight blue suit; shoulder length mane hanging loosely; the only feature of his face visible was his firm jawline... and his bewitchingly attractive dark brown orbs partially hooded under the feathered mask, attracted everyone as iron scraps towards magnet. Many hands snaked around his torso, trying desperately to claw him down for that night.
Raat mein hi jaagte hain
Yeh gunaahon ke ghar
Inki raahein khole baahein
Jo bhi aaye idhar
Aa haaHe was not much interested in the women who lurked around him.. His eyes were looking around for his eligible match in the sea of masked women.. Lit in different shades of soft light emitted from the coloured glass holders of candles in the chandelier.
Yeh hai gumraahon ka raasta
Muskaanein jhooti hai
Pehchaanein jhooti hai
Rangeeni hai chhaayi
Phir bhi hai tanhaayiHis eyes caught sight of a masked woman.. Her petite frame captured in a long gown.. The colour same as him. As he approached her, he noticed her honey brown eyes half hidden in a mask. He offered his hand SMILING gentlemanly to her for a dance, she got up from her seat tiredly, her plump pink lips slightly pouted in irritation. But she accompanied him in the dance floor putting her expert seductive palm pressed at his shoulder. He entangled his fingers with her cold, sweaty ones, pulling her towards himself and tried to match his novice steps along with her skillful moves; when her lips curved in a well practiced welcome SMILE.
Kal inhi galliyon mein
In masli kalliyon mein
Toh yeh dhoon thi
Jo rooh piyaasi hai
Jismein udaasi hai
Woh hai choomti
Sabko pata hai wohi
Samjhe yeh kaash koiAfter dancing for sometime, he pulled her lightly indicating her to go upstairs in one of the rooms. She took the lead and after some swift twirls, they landed before the staircase and reached the ghostly lit corridor leading them towards rows of doors having rooms behind them.
