When Jeremy Heere bought a SQUIP for $400, he never thought he'd be where he was now. But as Jeremy had learnt early on, life wasn't always what he expected. From what Rich told him, he had expected the SQUIP to be a full-on robot. But you... you didn't seem like a robot. You couldn't be a robot.
From the way you acted, to how you appeared, it seemed far too human to Jeremy. There was nothing robotic about you. Just after a few days of having you around, he realised that maybe, just maybe, Christine wasn't exactly who he wanted. But he pushed that thought aside.
You were simply a voice inside his head. Someone only he could see. Someone who helped him with popularity, but let him stay the way he was before. Jeremy just couldn't help but fall in love with you more and more each day.
The night of Jake's Halloween party was when things changed. He had had a bit to drink, so you had shut yourself off to calm down. After having Chloe and Brooke crowding him, and watching Jake and Christine, he had had enough. He walked to the bathroom, to get away from everything.
Jeremy slid down the wall, thinking over everything that had happened that past weeks. Just as he thought about how smitten he was with you, your figure appeared in front of him, still in your Halloween costume ("unnecessary, but fun." is what you had told Jeremy when he asked about it)
"Jeremy, my absence was very sudden, I apologize." You smiled sweetly at him, but your smile fell as you saw him against the wall. "Is something wrong?" You sat youself down beside him, placing a hand on his shoulder. You flicked through his thoughts, finding out about Chloe and Brooke, and soon discovering the thoughts of Jake and Christine.
"Is this about Christine? And Jake?"
"No, it's not just that." Jeremy stood up, and you zapped from the floor up to where he was. "It's you. Ever since you've been in my mind, I've felt weird. Different." Jeremy took your silence as the judgemental, questioning kind.
"N-Never mind. It's stupid." He had his hand on the door when you stopped him. "Jeremy, I completely understand. I've felt strange too." Jeremy's eyes met yours, as his expression morphed into one of pure confusion.
"B-but you're a robot! How can you feel things?"
"I was suprised too, but I don't feel like a robot. Not when I'm with you." Jeremy inched closer to you, "When I'm with you... I feel human."
Those seven words sealed everything. He slammed his lips onto yours, shocking you completely. It didn't take long for you to kiss him back. You were suprised how normal this felt to you, as it was definitely not in your programming.
If anyone walked in right now, they would probably think they were going crazy. To the outside world, it looked like Jeremy Heere was making out with thin air. But to Jeremy, it looked as if everything he ever wanted was right in front of him.
