Chapter 17

I sighed and ignored the notification. Probably it was just Dawn adding me to her another group chats in Line app. I rose to my bed and opened my school notes in my study desk and start doing my assignments. I put it on silent mode and placed my phone within my reach. I hummed as I flipped the pages of the books. I was engrossed in reading when I noticed the door creaked open and heard Tiana sighed. "Oh, Hi ace! Welcome back." I turn to look at her and smiled. "Yeah. So how was your day?" I said and went back to flipping the pages. "Tiring," she said and slumped to her bed then heaved a deep sigh. "So what's with you and Sky?" She asked all of a sudden. My forehead creased. "What about me and Sky?" I asked still not looking at her.

I heard her light steps going to me. On my peripheral vision I saw her sat on my bed and faced me. "Stop with the act, Ace. What's the real score between you and Sky? You were together last night." I suddenly stiffened. That's right! Sky. I haven't said my sorry personally for leaving him. "Oh my god! So there is something about you and him. C'mon Ace, tell me what's the catch between you and Sky?" I turned to face her and immediately denies her suspicions. "What? No! There's nothing going on with me and Sky. There is no catch at all." She rolls her eyes. "First stage, Denial. Alright I'll be cooperative and believe that statement." she stood up and went inside the comfort room. I shook my head and stretched my arms upward. What makes her think there's something's up with me and Sky?

I glanced at my phone who keeps on vibrating due to tremendous notifications. I sighed and checked it out. My forehead creased. "EXO" I read the group chat name. That's it? I guess Dawn runs out of creative names. I opened it. Their names are similar to the EXO members. Is this a role-playing group chat?  Messages kept coming in and they're written in hangul. The first one who noticed me was the one who has Chan Yeol's name.

Chan Yeol: There's Ace! Hi Ace!

Lay: Ace? who's ace?

Uh--Hi?

Litte Seunghwani Hyung: Who added her here?

Kai: It's okay manager Hyung. She's a friend already.

Lay: Who's ace?

Baek Hyun: Uwaaaa~ hello Ace! Welcome!

Chan Yeol: Ace still there?

DO: How can she reply when you kept on chatting?

Super Leader Hyung: Ya kids calm down. Lay, she's that girl who Kyung Soo brought to the dorm. The one that we're talking about.

I blink my eyes a few times. "What's gotten into you, Ace?" Tiana asked as soon as she went out of the bathroom and saw me spacing out in front of my phone screen. I shook my head and simpered. "Nothing. I just read something interesting." I stood up from my desk. "I'll go out for a night stroll around the field. I'll be back." I said and hurriedly wore my coat and went outside our room. I didn't get to hear Tiana's reply. My hands were shaking the fact that I realized it wasn't just a group chat that I knew of. I sat on the nearest bench I saw after I went out of the school dormitory building. I blew a breath and opened the group chat again.

Chan Yeol: Ace is gone?

Baek Hyun: Kyung Soo must've scared her away.

DO: >>angry sticker<<

Se Hun: It was because you were noisy, hyungs.

Aren't you in your dorms? Why are you talking here?
