I sat in the back corner of the crowded room, waiting for the class to start. So many people were being loud, and were moving around the room. So I just sat by myself in silence. No one had attempted to speak to me. Which I was fine with. I wasn't looking for friends, or a conversation. I wanted to learn. I want to make myself better in any way I could.
The waiting continued for about ten minutes. It was ended by a boy in an orange suit and spikey blonde hair, getting flung into the room.
"NOW GO TAKE YOUR SEAT NARUTO!" Said the man that threw the boy.
I'm guessing that the boy's name was Naruto.
"It was just a joke Iruka-sensai." Naruto responded.
"I'll deal with you later." Iruka added. He turned towards the class and continued, "I apologize for that class. Now, if I'm not mistaken, we have a new student! Come on down to the front and introduce yourself." He stated happily. Students then began to whisper and wonder about where this new student was.
I stood up silently and started to walk to the front of the room from my seat in the back. As I walked I heard people whisper. "How did we not notice him?" "Was he here the whole time?" "Where did he come from?"
Iruka then said,"Ah, there you are. My name is Iruka-sensai, why don't you tell us your name and where you're from?"
I nodded hesitantly. I hate having everyone staring at me. "Umm, h-hello," I said stuttering," my n-name is Arashi. Arashi Yama. I am a Gennin from the village hidden in the mist." This made people start to whisper.
I then made my way back to my seat quickly. Keeping my head down to avoid eye contact. When I sat down, I felt pressure lift off my shoulders. I don't like meeting new people, I always feel like someone might be trying to get me. That is what happened to the rest of my clan after all. Killed. Just for being themselves. It wasn't right. I was surrounded by strangers. And I couldn't trust anyone.
