Chrome Dokuro is an orphan along with the others, she is Rokudo little sister.

Chrome is a girl who was sold by her family in the estraneo. Years later, the whole estraneo is killed and she become an orphan.

Rokudo Mukuro, a boy with an identical features to her, is an experiment to the estraneo. Became an orphan the same day Dokuro did.

Yamamoto Takeshi became an orphan because his father died an 'accident' but the truth is he's been killed by an assassin.

Gokudera Hayato is a son of a mafia don of a small famiglia, who got massacre by the Unknown. He is the only survivor.

Lambo is a child who was abandoned by his parent in a street and found by a boy. Became an orphan.

Sasagawa Ryohei, his parents both died in a car accident, since he's the only child, his uncle adopt him. But, since his uncle is in the Italy, he have to travel, and the day his uncle died, he became an orphan.

Hibari Kyoya, from the Hibari clan. His whole clan is massacre because the other think that they are a threat. Only a survivor, he travel to Italy looking for his uncle... He is living in a orphanage.

They all live in the same orphanage together with some others. kyoko, Haru, Hana, I–pin, Fuuta, Bianchi, and Kawahira....they are small in numbers and kawahira is the only adult in charge of them.

And lastly, Sawada Tsunayoshi, the boy who was with all of them.

If logically thinking, they should be in their 18's now...or in Hibari and Rokudo's case, 20. Lambo should be 15.
