Yay, can't wait to write the rest of this book. I'm having so much funwriting the Reader's personality.

But not to forget the cover of this book was created by puffypuffy_otaku

The boat rocked as the bow touched the surface of land. Mihawk took in a deep breath, opening his eyes of gold surveying his surroundings to find the island of gloom hasn't changed a bit since he had left. "We're home," Mihawk commented as he grabbed his swords delicately by the handle and threw the weapon over to rest upon his shoulder. The warlord walked over historical debris of fallen homes and trees that towered above everything else in sight besides the mansion that poked above the trees but not all that much. This long walk was tiring but it was all just to make it to the mansion he called home located directly in the middle of an island that goes by the name of Kuraigana. Or best known as Gloomy Island.

That's weird...

Mihawk came to a stop, his golden eyes surveyed the surroundings. Mihawk furrowed his brow. "What's weird?" He felt obligated to ask.

The baboons haven't shown themselves.

Baboons. Primates that inhabited Gloomy Island long before Mihawk had ever set foot upon this island of rubble. Their existence were a bit troublesome on everyone besides their own kind, mimicking everything they see with great expertise. Mihawk couldn't quite come to a conclusion, their existence had completely slipped his mind. "Indeed you are correct," Mihawk agreed at last.

They're scared to death of you. But they don't ignore you... I wonder why we haven't seen them.

"As do I," Mihawk turned the other cheek, picking up his pace to a rushed walk. Knowing the baboons, the primates could be plotting something he didn't want to be caught up within. Afterall he just wants to get home and settle down.

"Zoro don't die!!!"

"If you seriously don't want me to die then help me out!!!"

Two separate voices, a high pitched female, and a deep voiced male who's voice sounded all so familiar echoed within the atmosphere for miles. Mihawk had to assume the calls of distress could be heard for miles on end.

Roronoa Zoro is here? Well that explains why the baboons aren't.

"Zoro," Mihawk pinched his brow with great irritation to the situation to come. Having to save his rival after sparing his life once before.

Quit standing there! He'll die if we don't help him.

"Coming from the girl who just came back from war."

Have you forgotten that I have no other choice but to follow you around?

"I gave you a choice (Y/n)," Mihawk groaned heavily disliking this escalating argument.

I can't leave you hanging... Just help me out this once. I'd save Zoro and that girl myself but you know for a fact that I don't carry my sword on hand anymore.

"Fine," Mihawk groaned letting his sword drop to his side. "Only because they're on the way back home."

Thank you...

His pace sped up to one of a mid jog, not so much faster than his previous pace. Mihawk was still very reluctant on saving a past opponent but all at the same time felt obligated into doing so since it was what you wanted most. You would complain on Mihawk's pace, Zoro and that other girl with him could die before he could even reach them. But at least he's going out of his way to save them, and that's good enough for you. Mihawk always pulls through.
