Was I The Only One (Niley Story) Chapter 1 (Flashbacks)

(Miley on the phone with Nick). "Yeah babe, I love you too." Miley said, smiling. (Nick chuckles). "Say it like you mean it." Nick said, chuckling. "Nick, I love you too. (She giggles). Ok, I'll see you later, bye babe." Miley said, (she hangs up).

(Demi waving her hand in front of Miley's face). "Miley? Miley darling?" Demi asks, worried. (Ends her flashback). "Huh? What?" Miley asks, (finally woke up.) (She looks at Demi). "I'm okay, Demi." Miley assured her. "Memories of Nick, again?" Demi asked. (Nods). "It's so hard to forget." Miley said, (sighing.) (She sighs). "Your making it hard, Miles." Demi tells her. (Sighs, knowing Demi's right). (Demi sees Nick walk in the room). "Miley, I'm going to go to class. I'll see you later." Demi tells her, (she walks away).

~Later in Class~

Teacher: That's very true. Not all people keep their promises. Does anyone have any experience of dealing with a liar?. (Miley's flashback). (Nick texting: I love you baby). (Texts back: WTF? No you don't! I just found out something, Nicholas! And it better be a fucking joke!) (Texts: What?) (Texts: :( You cheated on me... I thought you loved me, Nick! What the hell were you thinking?!). (Texts:I didn't cheat...). (Selena walks to Miley; trying to be subtle). "Hey, Miley." Selena greets (Trying to be friendly to a friend who she betrayed). "Um? Selena, I really appreciate it if you didn't talk to me at all. I told you once, we aren't friends anymore. I'm sorry." Miley tells her. (Looked back to the teacher). "Miley, you have to talk to me. I don't want to go on with life with you being my enemy. I miss my best friend. I miss hanging out with you." Selena tells her, (frowning). "Selena, your not my enemy, and you never were my best friend, OBVIOUSLY! You made out with my boyfriend, while I was dating him! You shank! (Looks forward again). "Leave me alone." Miley yells.

~That Afternoon, after school~

(Demi walks to Miley who's standing outside of the school). "Wanna chill?" Demi asked. "Not today, Demi. I have church tonight. Otherwise I would." Miley tells her. "Miley, I know why you go to church every Wednesday." Demi said, (not happy). (Miley looks at Demi oddly). "Because I love God. That's why I go to church. Because I love to worship my savior. Please tell me that's what you were thinking." Miley said, (biting her lip). (Looks down). "It's Nick's church too, Mi. You know that. I'm not trying to be rude to you Miles, but Nick hasn't been to church since you two broke up, he's not going to show up tonight. Don't get your hopes up." Demi tells her. "Wow, some friend you are. I don't go to church for Nicholas! I go because it fixes everything in my life, it makes everything better. It calms me down." Miley explains to her. "Ok, you keep believing that, Miley." Demi said. (Walks to her car and leaves).

~Meanwhile, with Miley~

(Hangs up the phone with her mom and starts walking home). (Thinking: I can't believe she forgot to come pick me up! Now I have to walk home!). (Nick's in his car, he see's Miley and drives over to her; rolls down the window; shouting). "Need a ride?" Nick asked. (Her heart drops when she hears Nick's voice; she remains walking not acknowledging him). "Miley Ray Cyrus! It's 20 degrees out there. Get in the car I'll take you home." Nick said. (Still walking; facing forwards). "I don't want a rife from you. I can make it home on my own." Miley tells him. "Please?" Nick asked, (hoping she will agree). "Ugh, fine." Miley agrees. (She walks over to Nick's car and gets in the front seat). (Notices that Mikey really doesn't want to be in the car with him; so he just began driving; without saying a word). (Miley looking out the window). (Nick's phone began ringing; he answers). "Hey baby." Nick greets. "Hey, sexy. What are you doing?" Selena asking. "On my way home, what about you my princess?" Nick asked, (smiling...). "Watching tv. We should hang out tonight." Selena suggests. "Actually, I'm feeling sick. I can't. (Lying) I'll talk to you later baby." He said. (He hangs up). (Miley stays silent). (Nick trying to make conversation). "What are you doing tonight?" Nick asking her. (Still looking out the window). "Church." Miley tells him. "Me too. (Smiles). Maybe we could go together? Save gas money." Nick suggests. (He looks at Miley). (Her hearts quicken). "Um..." Miley hesitated. (Notices that she doesn't want to). "You don't have to go with me. I was just trying to be nice." Nick said, (kinda sad). (She speaks what she was thinking). "Trying to be nice? Why would you ever be nice to me? After all the shit you've put me through. I don't want you to be nice to me. I want you to..." Miley hesitated. (She stops talking). (He pulls in front of her house). "You want me to what Miles?" Nick asks her. (Trying to be strong). "Don't call me Miles. That is something my friends call me. That is something that the people who actually care about me calls me that." Miley tells him. "I care about you, Miley." Nick tells her, (sighing). (A tear falls from her eyes). (Feels like a jerk for all he's done to Miley; wants to just kiss her right now and tells her everything will be ok; can't take the fact that he's making her cry; he sighs and tries to take her hand). (She shakes her head and pulls her hand away). "No, because if you cared about me.. (Another tear shed from her eyes). You wouldn't have broken my heart.." Miley tells him. (She opens the door; stepping out of the car, she grabs her backpack). "Thanks for the ride.." (She whispers; she looks at Nick one more time before shutting the door to his truck and walking inside her house).

~Meanwhile~

(He only lives 2 streets away from Miley; but while he's driving home; he has a flashback). "Yes, of course Miley. We're still friends. I would never ruin our friendship, just because we're broken up doesn't mean we can't go back to being best friends." Nick smiles. "Good. Ok well I'll see you around school." Miley said, (smiling, but still heartbroken).

~2 Hours Later~

"Why are you such a fucking bitch?!" Nick asks, (yelling at her). "Huh? I didn't do anything." Miley said, (very confused, and shocked). "Really?! Because Selena won't date me and she says it's because of you!" Nick yells. "Um...? Nick? I haven't talked to Selena all day, at least about you. But I have talked to Nicole. And word on the street, you cheated on me with SELENA! You man whore?" Miley yells back. "Yeah, I did! But only because Selena gives me what you don't! I can get some with Selena, and with you, I would never. We dated for 2 months, and you never fucking made out with me!" Nick yells. "That's all you wanted me for, right? All you wanted to do was sleep with me! Well I'm glad I didn't sleep with you! I hope you and Selena are happy, I wish you two the best. But leave me the hell alone!" Miley yells at him, (Miley found him such an idiot that day). (To Himself: I can't believe I was such an asshole...)

Oh boy, weren't you ever, Nick... Funny in real life, Selena and Nick never dated, every interview he's been in. He always got ask about him and Selena, and he always says there just friends, and that she's a sweet girl. And then when he dated Miley, he was so sweet to her. Although at the same time, very controlling over her. Like change her looks, and she did that just to make him happy and stay with Nick... But then Nick breaks up with her anyways. Oh boy. Miley was soooo broken. So she went from blonde highlights to black all over. Way to go Nick!!
