Ivan's pov
She fell to the floor. Why does she have to be so stubborn. What do I do? I know Jake wants me to take care of her but I don't know what to do. Half the people in the house are already here
"Ivan? What do we do?!" Tessa yelled trying to get my attention
"Huh?" I said snapping out of my thoughts
"Do something!" She yelled
"I don't know what to do" I said,"Call Jake"
"He's upstairs" Justin said
"I'll do it my self then" I said before yelling,"JAKE!!"
"What's going on?" Jake yelled back as he started to come down the stairs,"What happened?!"
"She was being stubborn and she just collapsed" I told him
"Her back just probably gave out let's get her to her room" Jake said as we started to move her
We got her to her room and a couple hours later she woke up like she didn't even pass out
"I get it I just woke up but tell me what's going on"
"Jake told me the first night you got home from the hospital that he wanted me to take over protecting you. He thinks now that your an adult someone else needs to take over there and he chose me. He probably chose me because he can see how much I love you"
"Ivan... I love you too"
Your pov
Jake's not gonna be my big protective brother anymore? It feels weird knowing that but why was Ivan so nervous to tell me that
"Well know I know why you've been acting so weird the last two weeks" I said
"Yeah. I didn't know what to do"
"Start by not being as protective as you have been. You've been more protective than Jake ever has been"
"Okay, I'll start there"
"Good next give me a kiss"
"Why?"
"Because I want one"
He kissed me
"Y/N moms coming to town to- woah sorry to interrupt" Jake said barging into my room
"Learn to knock! Anyways why's mom coming to town?"
"To check on you after your injury and make sure you don't have a boyfriend, so is there something I'm supposed to know?"
"Oh yeah, crap. Mom let me come out here in on condition"
"What was that?"
"I don't get a boyfriend for at least six months" I said putting my face into my "forbidden" boyfriend's arm
"What am I supposed to do when your mom gets here?" Ivan asked
"If your not supposed to have a boyfriend why are you with Ivan?" Jake asked
"Because I kind forgot until you brought it up"
"So what are we supposed to do"
"I'll tell mom right when she gets here because she won't be in the mood to do much. Then you will tell her why you chose Ivan to take your protective place without mentioning that you did that and Ivan you'll just act normal"
"Define normal" Ivan said
"Do anything you would normally do, like lay in bed with me and help me around the house and all that"
"Okay. So basically do anything that would tell your mom we're dating"
"I don't care if she finds out, she can't do anything about it, I'm an adult she can't force me to go back to Ohio"
"You won't leave me?"
"No I'm not gonna leave you, I never will" I said giving him a kiss on the cheek
"Big brother still here" Jake said
"When's mom getting in?"
"Tonight"
"Why did you give me so little notice?!"
"I just found out and came right to tell you"
"She gave such little notice so I wouldn't have time to come up with a plan but I'm to smart to not come up with a plan fast"
"Your crazy sis"
"I know"
We all laughed then Jake left an me and Ivan took a nap before my mom got into town. She came right into my room...
