Master & Unknown

I woke up to the dogs barking and howling and my mom and dad yelling at each other once again. I wish they could get along for once. It's so irritating to wake up to yelling every morning.

I walked downstairs to get some food and my little brother James hands me a newspaper clipping. It was a clipping of a circus burnt down. I asked James,

"What's this for?"

"It's the 20th anniversary of Circus Freak burning down," he said

I forgot the poor kid always heard about the circus and wanted to go but got told it burned down before he was born. it burned when I was 8.

"Hey, James how about we go to that old place," I said

"Really!!?.... But I heard it's haunted!" he said

"Bushhhh you really believe that stuff," I said

"Uh-oh of course not!" he said

I had James get dressed and we hopped out my window so we wouldn't have to go through mom and dad. We walked down the street it was still early so it was still really dark and no one was out. It looked like a ghost town. All the lights off only dim street lamps on. James seemed freaked out by how silent it was.

Then we got there. It was still covered in ash. All that was left of the tends were charred fabric and metal posts. The grass was gone and where there was some it was charcoal grey. Ash was all over the ground posters about this act Master and Unknown were flying around burned corners. There was this creature on the poster which I'm guessing is Unknown. It had a wolf head with long wild looking hair, but Its body was human. It had a long wolf tail. Its Hair was charcoal grey, pitch black and white.

What I think they call Master is a teenage girl probably only 16 or 17. She had this long red hair she kept in pigtails that had this perfect curl to it. She was slim, but not to thin. She looked to have some muscle. She had black shorts a white shirt and a red coat on with fishnet leggings on. She had gorgeous almost crystal blue eyes, and red and black smokey eye makeup on with dark red lipstick. She was stunning.

Then we heard a twig break. We spun around on our heels to see that creature, but now it looked different. It had a burned clawed out eye, and the other eye was this ice blue almost crystal white color. Blood dripped down from its mouth as if it ate something. It had this white mask on. The mask had a red line for the mouth and cut out eyes. Right next to the creature was Master. It was the girl from the poster. She had this white masquerade mask on with black details on it. She also had Burns on her face arms and legs.

I look over to see James shaking in fear. We were both terrified. The creature called Unknown sits next to Master. Master lifts up her arm and points at James. The creature gets up and runs at James as she lifts her hand. Unknown Bares her teeth and bites into James side. I see the creature rip out his organs. There is blood everywhere. Some landed on Master and me.

I Wanted to help as he cried out, but my feet went on there own as I ran the cries of James grew dimmer. If I wouldn't have come here James would still be with me! It's all my fault! I didn't even have the guts to help him! Then the girl stands in front of me. She gives a smile and walks up to me. She's about my height. She put her hand on my chin and lifts up my head. I shake in fear.

She says, " Oh you poor thing. your friend or what looks like your brother is gone. Now, what are you going to tell you're a poor mother?"

Her voice was so calm, but almost mocking yet sweet as candy.

She says, " Oh you're going to give me the silent treatment now?"

It's definitely Mocking, but her tone throws me off at the same time.

I said, " You! How could you...!"

That was definitely shaky. Can she sense my fear?

She says, " Clearly your mother didn't teach you how to treat a lady!"

Then she smiled, but it-. Then I felt something and shock of pain went through my body. I pull away seeing she dug her nails into my side and run to one of the charred Tents. I could barely see because my footsteps were stirring up the ash laying on the ground, but I still saw the colors had been drained from the tents and chains and blood laid on the floor. There were bones, but they didn't look like any normal animal bones? They were Human bones! Do they always do this! What do they have against people!

I look back to see Unknown chasing me. Blood dripping out of her mouth. I run faster than before. I run past the old carousel. The paint is melted off and some of it still flakes off. The horses look almost grayscale because of the ash.

Unknown runs into me knocking me onto my back and holds me down with her "hands" as Master walks over slowly with a smile on her face. I knew right then and there I was done. Master puts her foot on my chest and points a were we came in. Unknown runs off and comes back with James in her mouth. James had a bite out of his side. His organs hung out of the bite mark. His skin was pale. I couldn't look at him from long before gaging or crying. I should have just stayed home with him! He would still be ok!

Master then looks and me and makes Unknown set him down next to me. Then I see the creature run over, and all I feel after that is the pain. I see blood coming from me and James dead next to me. I feel a numbing pain my side and I look to see blood coming out as unknown bites me. Before I black out I see Master blow me a kiss. Then she says, " Good Night Damien."
