Prince Louis's POV
To say I was surprised would be an utter understatement. These two female wolves had not only managed to infiltrate the castle walls, they had made my wolf flinch at the blatant display of pure power. It was baffling. Who were these girls, and what made their wolves worthy of such power? I was next in line for fucks sake! I could tell the other boys were still unsettled by the powerful force that had entered the room.
"Calm down Analeigh..." the one named Zoey whispered, the internal battle Harry was fighting displayed clearly on his face.
Just as I was about to say something the doors to the chamber flew open and the second in command of the royal guard came rushing in.
"WHAT MAKES YOU THINK YOU CAN ENTER THE CHAMBERS WITHOUT KNOCKING!! THIS BETTER BE IMPORTANT!!" I yelled, it didn't matter if he was a member of the guard.
"Sir...there has been word that a young girl is to be hanged in the Southern Kingdom at first light. There are mumblings throughout the other kingdoms of people wondering how you are letting this happen. It doesn't help that the one to be hanged is apparently the best healer to exist, the only one even close was Elizabeth Mayweather...moon goddess rest her soul. Even my mate called to ask me what was going on..." The second in command informed me, making sure to not make eye contact with me out of respect.
"Do you believe us now your highness? If we don't save HER, your kingdom could very well fall into shambles." Analeigh, Harry's mate, spat at me.
At the sound of her voice, the guards head snapped up and narrowed his eyes at the two beautiful women in our presence.
"YOU! Ana c'mon! What did commander tell you about wreaking havoc amongst the first battalion! You knew they didn't even stand a chance against you and lunar shadow! I don't know if commander is going to be more pissed that you here without him calling for you, or that you alone knocked out all of his best fighters." He exclaimed, hands waving wildly as he went on his rant.
"Hey! You and I both know that the commander doesn't dictate where my sword leads me. Besides, father isn't going to know that we are here is he? If he catches of wind of why we are actually here, it will destroy him. You are to stay here and make sure father doesn't leave the castle. Tell him there are visions of war, and to prepare the battalions. That's an order." Ana replied back coolly, her sword flashed brightly as she mentioned the order.
Then the weirdest thing happened. The guard's demeanor changed as soon as the spark of sapphire made its presence known. Cocking my head to the side, I watched the display before me.
"Your wish is my command. For you are the vessel and I am your charge." He blindly recited, bowing to none other than Ana herself.
I growled as the guard righted himself and began to blink slowly, taking in his surroundings. He winced as his eyes flitted towards our thrones. He could sense that I wasn't the least bit thrilled over the pledge of loyalty to another body. Even if they were now princesses, those words should have been directed at me. With that being said, he bowed to me and quickly left the room.
"Prince Louis?" Niall's mate finally spoke, causing my attention to snap towards her.
"Yes?" I responded with a coldness that caused the other princes to look at me, and Ana to place her hand on her sword.
"I can only transport this many people to the outskirts of the Southern Kingdom, the rest will have to be on foot. We must leave now if we want to save Amelia..." She exclaimed nervously, perhaps in fear of setting me off.
"Transport? What on Earth are you talking about? You aren't a witch are you!?" I hissed, causing Niall to growl at me in return.
"Look the only thing I can tell you is that the moon goddess has...blessed us. It's better to wait until Amelia is with us to explain. While she may not talk much, I have a feeling that she will have a lot to say about this matter." She sighed, clearly annoyed with my witch accusations.
