The town of Humboldt in Saskatchewan, Canada has suffered a devastating loss.
Friday evening, the Humboldt Broncos junior hockey team was traveling for a playoff game, when suddenly they collided with another vehicle. 15 are confirmed dead, and 14 still injured.
This is a sad day for Humboldt, Saskatchewan, Canada, and the entire hockey community around the world. Though I am not a hockey person myself, I know many people who are. These young men had so much ahead of them, and have been taken from us far too soon.
Please keep Humboldt in your thoughts and prayers, and let us pray and hope that those lost are in a better place.

Stephen Wack, 21*EDITS MADE: I had to edit this chapter due to sudden changes in information. Initially Xavier Labelle (18) was declared dead, but there was a misidentification by the coroner. Xavier Labelle had actually survived (injured and in hospital) while unfortunately Parker Tobin (also 18) actually did not. Also, the crash took place on Friday night and not Saturday night as I previously stated. Sorry for incorrect information, and my heart goes out to all the families and the Humboldt community.
**EDITS MADE 2: The death count has risen to 16. On Wednesday, Dayna Brons passed away in hospital. Condolences to her family.
