    *BEEP BEEP BEEP*

    I swiped across my phone screen to shut off the annoying noise. Very slowly I sat up in bed and reached for my phone to look if I got any notifications.

  "10:22"

    I stared at it for a bit. Blinked a few times and suddenly went dead inside.

   "SCHOOL!!!"

   I jumped out of bed but my foot got caught in the blankets and slammed face first in the ground. I stood up not caring that my nose felt like it was gonna bleed and ran full speed into my dresser giving my side a slight bruise.

   I opened my drawers looking for a suitable shirt and shorts. I slipped into my purple sweat shirt and ran to the bathroom to freshen up.

    After I placed my beanie on I looked at my self in the mirror to see if I was suitable to leave the house. Something was missing. It wasn't my ear rings I lefted them in over night so they won't close up.

     'No time.' I thought to myself and ran down stairs with my bag on me. I ran passed the kitchen to see one of my roommates ,Candy, in the kitchen munching on cereal.

    "Morning Mew." She stuffs her face with cereal to hide the fact she was laughing.
  
    I haven't known Candy to long but we already have a close friendship bond between us. She has been known for her hyped up personality or her colorful cat ears and tail.
   
"Morning? Why aren't you at school?!?" I'm so confused right now...

   All she did was look at me. The started dying of laughter.

   "What's so funny?!?" I felt furious push my confusion aside.

   Still laughing Candy manages to point at the fridge where the calendar sat. I followed her finger and it hit me.

   "There's no school today is there..."
I'm so stupid how could I forget my favorite day.

    "Not till September!" Candy dies down her laugh. "This is the third time this week and it never gets old!"

   "wait wasn't I making a lot of noise up there?"

  "Yah."

  "AND YOU DIDN'T COME CHECK ON ME OR TELL ME THERE WAS NO SCHOOL!"

   "Actually I did go to check on you but didn't say anything once I found out you were wrestling you blankets." Candy started laughing again.

   "You butt!" I said storming up the stairs. I used the wrong words because as I walked up the stairs I heard Candys laugh louder.

    'That's one way to wake up.' I thought. I go to my room and crawl in bed. But couldn't sleep so stayed up watching videos.

    I checked the time again.

    "12: 47"

    'I guess I shouldn't be so lazy on the first day of summer break even though I want to.' I told myself in my head.

    I walked down the stairs and into the living room. Candy and Sprout, my 3rd roommate, were playing Xbox on the floor.

   Sprout is a sweet alien cyclops. I met her one day at school by her self and quickly realized why she was alone. She doesn't have a mouth to speak with and no one wanted a mute friend. I gave her the nickname Sprout cause 1, Her alien name is way to hard to pronounce. 2, she has a little sprout like plant growing on the top of her head. Me and the girls are working on a way to make Sprout a voice box but haven't succeeded yet.

    As I continued to walk in I see Jess reading a book while petting her pet bird Skully.

    Jess is a bunny with floppy ears that seem fun to sit there and play with but I wouldn't mess with them. Only cause Jess has been...in a few fights and her ears have a lot of scars so their sensitive. Jess first friend, Skully, is a evil little bird with a skull on his face. He ended up turning Jess a little on the crazy side but I found her soft spot and now she knows how to control her temper.

   "WILL YOU TWO PLEASE KEEP IT DOWN!!!" Jess screamed.

........OK she KINDA knows how to control her temper....At least she said please.

  "But..." I sat on the couch ready for Candy to complain, "This is the 10TH time I lost!!! How are you so good at games?!" Candy looked over to Sprout. All Sprout does is shrug her shoulders and waves a friendly hand at me when she realized I was behind her.

   "Hi Sprout! Can I join you guys?" I said sitting between them on the floor.

   Sprout nods frequently.

   "Yah I guess one more match will do." Candy says handing me a controller.

   "HOW DID I COME IN 5TH PLACE?! I SHOT MORE PEOPLE THAN THAT KID!!" Candy screamed. She may be sweet. But when she's mad she's mad!

  "Candy calm down! Look I only got in 7th place and you don't see me freaking out" even though I feel like finding the person who kept targeting me and strangle them.

   "Yah I guess your right. Hey Jess what's the time?" Candy turned to face Jess but Jess doesn't look up from her book.

"It's...." finally looking from her book to her phone, "1:20."

   "Oh I got to go." Candy said getting up.
   
   "Where you going?" I looked up at Candy while she jumped over the couch.

  "Over to Cookie's place. BYE!" Candy left slamming the door. Everyone jumped at the noise.

   "OK....How 'bout you Jess? Wanna play?" I held yup the controller. She just looked at it before speaking.

  "Thank you but no thank you.." she is the mature one out of us all. " I have a summer job to attend to. Some one has to pay for the bills." Jess walked up the stairs to get ready for work with Skully trailing behind her.

   "Well, are you up for another round?" I looked at Sprout who was already looking at me.

   Sprout shook her head and pointed to her little plant on top of her head. Usually meaning she's hungry. And for her to eat she has to stay outside in the sun and sit there, mostly sleep though.

    "Oh got yah." I said. Sprout stood up and left for the front door to lay in her usual spot.

    I looked around me to find me all alone. Great now I have to do stuff today.

   My stomach roared and I felt a bit weak. I went to the kitchen to find food. Couldn't make a PB&J cause we had no bread or peanut butter. Couldn't have can food all there was was corn. I searched the fridge, no milk left either. I searched the cupboards again to find a pop tart box. I look inside to see one pack of delicious icing covered breakfast treats just for me and I was filled with joy. MY PRAYERS HAVE BEEN ANSWER!

   I started munching on my pop tart. 'Welp I know what I'm doing today...'
