Long Day

"Luke!" I practically yell.

His reply is just a small chuckle and the placing of my glass of water in the side, before he grabs his own glass and heads towards the fridge, which is on the side of the island that I am on, may I add.

"W-What a-re you doing down here?" I ask, trying to subtly move away whilst eating my cornflakes and head towards the cup of water.

"I came down to see what all of the noise was and to get a drink," he smiles, turning towards me, closing the fridge and taking a swig of his apple juice, "What are you doing down here?" He queries.

"U-Um, I needed a glass of water and food," I say, keeping an eye on his every move and not towards his chest.

"Yeah, I am sorry about.....falling on top you and everything," he says, rubbing the back of his neck. Don't do that Hemmings! Oh. Dear. Lord. His awkwardness is just too cute. I can hear Paige and Lola laughing about this situation now.

"It's f-fine, it was an accident," I say finishing my cereal and taking the empty bowl over to the dishwasher and refill my glass in the sink.

"I just want you to know," he says, I look over to see him now sat at the island, "That, I had a look at your portfolio and .... I-I think you're r-really talented," he finishes, looking down at his hands that are clasped to the glass.

Wow, I think my heart just stopped, not in the 'ER MEH GAWD the like love of my life just complimented me,' more in the 'Woah, someone who has a real talent with guitar and singing actually just complimented me,' and it helps that he happens to be very appealing to the eye.

I cleared my throat, "Erm, t-thank you, y-you're r-early talented too," I told him.

By this point we both looked like the red traffic light, "Thanks," he smiled.

It was quiet for a minute. And really awkward.

"So," I started, dragging the 'o', "I am going to go to bed now, thanks for getting the glass for me," I gestured to the glass in my hand.

"Y-Yeah, sure," he said, scratching his head and diverting his eyes, "Night," he said as I walked passed.

"Night," I muttered, before carrying on up to bed.

A while later, I heard the pounding of footsteps up the stairs and the creaking of a door until it was all silent again. Soon enough I drifted off, hoping that tomorrow will be less awkward than today.

I was awoken by a loud ringing and realised that it was my phone. Leaning over I saw Lola's picture of her pulling a goofy face on the screen, "Hello," I yawned.

"Google hangout, me, you and Paige in ten minutes," she said before hanging up.

With that, I shot up, brushed my hair and put it into a pony, brushed my teeth, washed my face with my T-Zone wash that I use for the morning, made my bed and grabbed my phone and iPad. I couldn't be bothered getting changed, so, I headed downstairs and into the kitchen where I made a cup of Kenco 2 in 1 coffee that I (being as sad as I am about coffee) brought with me and a bowl of cornflakes. After that, I propped my iPad up on the dining table, using its case and opened up google hangout.

Before I knew it, Lola's, Paige's and my face all popped up on the screen (Paige's profile picture) and I pressed the accept button.

"ER MEH GAWD! I can't believe you are living in the same house as 5SOS!" She screeched.

"Ssshhh," I laughed, "I don't think they're up yet and I like it that way for now," I told her.

"What did you do?" Lola said straight to the point.
