Chapter 27

Justin, Alex and Sira were on the road. They had been driving for almost six hours with a few stops for lunch. Sira and Alex were fast asleep now. It was almost dark anyway and Justin was getting very tired. Luckily, he saw a cheap looking motel.

Justin's POV:

The motel looked sketchy at best but I was exhausted and wanted so badly to sleep.
"Hey guys." I shook them both gently to wake them. Their eyes slowly opened.
"Where are we?" Sira asked, her eyes looked dead.

"A motel, cutie." I say, picking her up while Alex began to stretch out. Her legs and arms began to crack.

"Mommy? Why did your legs crack?" Sira asked. Alex and I looked at each other in surprise.

"Did you just call me mommy?" Alex asked the little girl. She looked like she had seen a ghost and began to stutter.

"A-Aren't you m-my m-mommy?" Sira asked her, tears falling down her face. She quickly scooped her up and began to cuddle with her.

"Oh, of course I am, sweetie." She strokes her hair, combing out the tangles of her long hair that had become a matted mess due to the sleeping on it without it being put in a braid.

"Oh my God!" She mouthed to me. I was in just as much shock as she was. I didn't realized Sira had grown so attached to her. Once we had gotten ourselves checked in to the motel and got into our room, we all crashed.
