Zoe's POV

Me and Mrs. Oswald were walking down the corridor when I said ,,I'm sure that thing was right here, but where did it go?"Mrs .Oswald was a bit mad at me for wasting her 'important' time but it was for a good reason.,,Zoe enough of this as I said I 've
a very important work to do so if that mysterious thing doesn't show up in a minute I'll go.",,Huh I think it ran away somewhere but when I see it again I'll inform you."Finally she's gone. At last I hope Mia had enough time to get out of the office.I texted her to make sure.

Mia's POV

Oh shiiiit.Noooo not right now when we're so close.
But I've no choice I need to get in somehow.What if I  go the another way. Maybe I can get him to follow me and then get lost. It's quite easy to get lost here.'Cause our room is set not in a hall but in a lil corridor and if I take a turning left I can easily get away from him then just go along there turn left and I'm back.It'll get me enough time to get in our room and lock it. Now or never lets go.
I stepped out of the bathroom and started slowly walking to our room . When he saw me I froze in my place. Oh no he's getting colser I turned and walked away as fast as possible to don't get unwanted attention.
I turned left then I bumped into someone.It was a man in his early twenties with dark brown hair and hazel colored eyes.Hmm he seems familiar too. But why? ,,Are you Zoe Clark ?" He asked me. ,,No I'm not."I was confused a bit but his voice snapped me out of my thoughts.,,Ok then please can you tell me where I can find her? Or do you  know who she is? " I felt akward but I said ,,Yes I know who she is and I don't know where she could be." Then it popped into my head.Zoe's father was a mafia gang leader and this guy is from a rival gang.(The families of the two girls were very close to each other so Mia's family have known about Zoe's father's mafia gang)Oh shit and he probably came to murder Zoe.Oh shiiit I need to get away from here very fast.I quickly walked away feeling butterflies in my stomach.
When I looked behind I saw that the guy from the mafia was following me. Great now two people is trying to stop me. When I got near our room I saw Kyle near our door.(he was maybe 5 meters away from the door)
But he was looking in the other direction.I walked as fast as I can. When I reached
our room I quickly opened the door and locked it.I put my book , the diary and the dictionary in my backpack and opened the windov.I was just about to drop Zoe's backpack when I heard a loud knock on the door. Shit probably the mafia guy is here.I quickly dropped the backpacks to Zoe and was about to jump out when the door burst open.,,DON'T YOU DARE JUMP YOUNG LADY !!!!!!" Oh god and Mrs.Oswald is here.How the fuck did she know?!!I didn't hesitated and HOP I was on the ground grabbing my backpack.

Zoe's POV

Mia hopped down on the ground safely.After giving her the backpack we started running to the forest when I saw a familiar man running out of the orphanage.Oh no.Not him.It was a guy from the rival gang.If he's alone what's probably not true we're good.He's pretty fast but we've got a good headstarts . When we reached the forest we started running faster.,,Mia there that place is similar to the place in my dream!!",,Ok but you sure it's the right way?",,I'm sure let's go there."So we went in that direction.We were running about five minutes now.,,Let's stop and look aroud maybe we find a place to hide till everything's clear.",,Ok how about that tree? It's rooths are making a good hide place and it's hard to find out that we're there.",,Ok lets go and hide there then."
Right after we hid we heard footsteps in the distance.,,They must be here FIND THEM ,NOW!!!!"We were silent. Listening and hopeing  we didn't get discovered.,,Execuse me but Jason why do you need them that much?"Said a bit bitchy woman's voice.,,'Cause Zoe's got a diary that I need and her friend will probably have a book and a key."Oh so they're after our things too.,,And why is it that important to you ?" ,,Because the diary with a book and a key can lead us to a portal to another world with a lot of treasures in it."Ok WHAT??!!
Another world ? Wow a bit STRANGE. After a few minutes they left going back in the way they came. We get out of the roots and went in the other direction.

Mia's POV

We were walking when we heard yelling from nearby.
,,THEY'RE OVER THERE!!!!!!THEY'RE OVER
THERE!!!!!! Oh shit we fucked up badly. We started running as fast as we can till we both stumbled and fell into a big hole in the ground. Because of my great reflexes I grabbed onto a root before we fell to the bottom.It must've been a well once cause there was water on there. The bottom wasn't close but yet not too far.But there was a small river there .The steam of the water was very forcefull and the river looked deep.The water went along until it reached a stone wall and went somehow under it. ,, Mia I can't swimm!!!!"Oh shit. Then I saw someone above me he was pointing a .......GUN AT ME!!!!!!!! No! I don't want to die this way.,,Give me the book , the diary and the key or I pull the trigger!!!!!" The man yelled at us. Oh no I have to decide: If I let go we'll probably drown. If I don't he'll shoot me and Zoe'll fall and drown. So I......Letted go.We fell right into the freezing water and 'cause we can't swim we started to drown right after falling into the water.I was fighting for my breath an Zoe too. Then the water hit the stone wall and I felt  pain
in my head and shoulder.My eyes were shutted but I opened them to see were's Zoe. The last thing what I saw was Zoe passed out and floating in the water wich was slightly red cause of blood.Then everything went black.
